Success Is A Way Of Life - Not A Destination

This blog post is called, you get what you need, not what you want.



So very often, we imagine that if I asked for things that I'd want our get the things that I want? And regardless of what you believe, some of you pray to God, some of you ask the universe, some of you use the law of attraction, or whatever it is, but whatever you ask, most people expect to get what they ask. So if I ask, “Oh, can I get some more money, I need more money, can you send me more money?”

Most people imagine that they will get the money, but you don't get what you want. You get what you need. So instead of getting money, most often you'll get an opportunity to earn money, you'll get a chance to work for it and to get it and to deserve the money. The money is not just going to drop on your lap or into your bank account. Most often, you're going to get an opportunity to get it.

Some of you may be asking for better confidence for more courage, etcetera, and again, you’re not just going to feel fuzzy one day and now you go, “Oh, I’m more confident, I’m more brave.” That's not going to happen. If you ask for more confidence and for more braveness, the chances are that you will get an opportunity to develop confidence, you'll be put into situations in life where you will have to become braver.

And again, you get not what you want, but what you need, because you need an opportunity to become braver. You don't need to just be start going fuzzy bread and all brave. And I just see it all the time in everywhere that surrounds me, you ask for a bigger business, you ask for a better business, and I was one of those people. I kept asking, I kept asking, I want a bigger business, I want to build a bigger business, I want to make more money. And did I just magically get some more money, or did I just magically wake up and my business exploded? No, I get an opportunity to develop a bigger business, I get an opportunity to work with somebody who will make the bigger business, I get an opportunity to support and mentor somebody who has the ability to take their business to the next level.

Again, it doesn't just happen, but you get a chance. Now, whether you take that chance or not, it's entirely up to you. You know, sometimes you might say, whatever, I don't want to put this work in totally cool, but then you're not going to get what you want. If you don't do what you need to do, then you can't get what you want to get. You know what I mean? It's so huge. If you understand this, if you wrap your brain around this and you really get it, it can completely transform your life.

Because you will start noticing those opportunities to get the things that you want, instead of just waiting for the things you want to appear in your life. You know what I mean? You want a better relationship, again your relationship will not just magically become better, and you will get opportunities to work for it and to do certain things to make the better relationship. You want to be healthier. You want to have a nicer car, you want to have a nicer house, whatever it is that you want, you will get it but you're not just going to get it, you're going to get a chance you're going to get an opportunity, you're going to get a situation, you're going to get a contact, a person, something in order to develop that.

And the chances are it's going to involve some work, it's going to involve some time, it's going to involve learning things, it’s going to involve sacrifice, sacrificing some of your energy, sacrificing some of your fears, sacrificing some of your comfort zones, sacrificing some of your BS excuses that you’ve been using up until now, sacrificing some of your story, you know, that you've been using as an excuse.

So you might have to sacrifice some of those things in order to get to the next level and that's my wish for you. That's exactly what I want for you to happen for you to get exposed to an opportunity, to get exposed to a situation where you can use it to make your life a better place, to make your life to the next level, to do whatever you were born to do, to do what your destiny is to be done. You know what I mean? That's powerful.
