You Don’t Need Everyone To Join
I want to talk about the fact that you don't
need everyone to join you. What do I mean by that? So the title of this blog
post is you don't need everyone to join. What do I mean by that?
Well, what I
mean by that is that a lot of people in network marketing get really upset when
people say no to them. They get really mad when people don't join their
business, when people are negative about home based business or network
marketing, when people criticize them, or whatever, what you have to understand
is you don't need to recruit thousands of people. I mean, all you need to succeed
to start making great money in network marketing, you only need about five to
10 great leaders in your business. Now your team eventually will grow to
thousands and thousands of people, but as not personally invited. You don't
personally need to recruit thousands; you just need to recruit a couple of
strong leaders who will then recruit some people and those people recruit some
people and so on.
And they say, if you have about 25 strong leaders in
your business, you can make a million dollars a year in network marketing. So
you don't need thousands. So what you have to understand that it is ok for most
people not to join your business. Yes, it is okay for most people not to join
your business because if you understand that you only need 5, 10, 20 great
leaders, then you don't worry when people don't join. Now, to get those 5, 10,
15 serious people, you might need to speak to 100, you might need to speak to
500, you might need to speak to 5000 people in order to find those great ones,
because great people, they just don't lay around everywhere.
You need to find
great people, but then it's okay for most people to say no, it's okay for most
people to be negative, it's okay for most people not to understand your
business model, is totally cool, you don't need them, it's not the ones you're
looking for. The ones who criticize you, the ones will laugh at you, the ones
who say it would never work are not the ones that you are looking for. And it's
totally cool. Whenever you come across this, you just go in your head, “Next,
next, next.” because you're not in a convincing business, you are in a sorting
business.
You don't convince people, you don't convert people, you don't
drag people screaming and kicking to presentations and trainings, you don't do
that. What you do is you're sorting for people, to find the ones who want
something, to find the ones who are hungry for a better life, to find the ones
who have dreams and ambitions and these are the ones who you will be working
with and developing them into becoming a fantastic leaders in your business.
That's what you do.
These ways, then you take the pressure off yourself. You
take the guilt and the shame and the wherever off yourself when some people
don't join. Because a lot of network marketers let these small things, cheat
them out of big opportunities. So these amazing people who have incredible
potential, they start a network marketing business. They speak to the first
five people who, let's face it may not be the greatest people in the world. And
those people go, “Ah, no, I wouldn’t join, no whatever. It's one of those
things. No, no, no.” And they will go, “That's it, I'm not going to do this
business because the first five people said no to me.”
But those first five,
what's the chance that out of the first five, you're going to get the leader?
Very small chance. But if you speak to 500, I can almost guarantee you’re going
to find some serious people, you know what I mean? So it's a game of numbers.
If you understand that it's a game of numbers. If you understand that it's
about ratios. Then you just go as quick as possible through all the no’s to
find the yes’s’. You go as quickly as possible through all the coin operated
people to find the entrepreneurs. You go as soon and as quick as possible for
all the not so great people to find the gems, to find the champions. You know
what I mean? So then it's totally cool.
When you speak to somebody and they go,
“No, it's not for me,” you go, “Awesome it’s just not one of those people.” You
move on you move on until you find the ones you want. And I like I said you
don't need a lot. You just need a handful of really, strong serious, amazing
people. And with those few people you can build an empire and that's my wish
for you.
