The way that Facebook algorithm works is that it monitors who like, comments and shares your posts and that's how it judges who to show your posts in the future. Therefore, if you have 1000 friends on facebook and 500 of them are already in your company, what you will probably will notice is that most of your posts will be liked, commented on and shared by people who are already in your business and over time facebook will show less and less of your posts to people who are not in your business. This is great for your EGO but not so great for your business growth, since probably you would like your posts to be seen by people who can buy your products and join your business.
Secondly, if you want to connect with new people on Facebook who would later join your business or buy your products then you may want to comment on their posts, like them and share them, but again, because of people from your business liking all your posts facebook will do the reverse too where they will start showing you all the posts that people from your company post and not of those people who are not in your business.
Therefore, what I have done is kept my active team members as friends on Facebook but I have removed hundreds of people who are in my company but not in my team from my friends list. This has instantly increased the visibility of my posts to those who are not in my business and I started receiving likes, comments, and shares from people who I didn't even know I had on my Facebook friends list. Also. I started seeing posts of people who I have not seen in ages and was able to start connecting to them by engaging with their posts.
You may use this tip or not, it is entirely up to you. But for me it worked!
