Why you DON’T need business cards in Network Marketing?

I have seen this so many times, a new business partner starts in network marketing and their first purchase on the list is the business cards. Totally unnecessary and the money could be much better spent on more samples or products.



You see the problem with business cards is that people assume that when they give out business cards with their company link a bunch of people will call them back and sign up to the business. WRONG! Almost no one will ever call you after seeing your business card. Most of those cards will actually end up in the bin. 

When you give out a business card the person you give it to becomes in control of your future communication. Only they can decide to call you. You cannot call them because you don't have their contact details.

Therefore, what I recommend instead is to say "Hey I just ran out of business cards, would you prefer me to send the video link to your phone or email?". This way now you have their contact details and you are in control of the communication. You can follow up with them later and see if they have reviewed the information you have sent to them.

The only time I use my business cards is to give them to the EXISTING team members in case they will have any questions or need any help.
