Why produce CONTENT?
I wanted to jump on and talk about why produce content, because I think so many
people are missing out on this part and they could do so, so, so well.
I
love when we attended the beyond leadership training in Las Vegas with Eric Wore.
He gave like a statement like a challenge. And he said, “Well, the challenge
is, for every piece of content that you consume on social media, you need to go
ahead and produce one.” So he goes, “For every piece of content that you
consume, you have to produce one piece of content.”
Imagine if every video
you watched on social media, you had to produce a video, for every picture that
you saw on social media that you scroll through, that you'd have to make a
picture and put on social media, and so on and so on. Imagine how big your
business would grow because of that. So that brings me to the topic of why
produce content, why actually do videos? Why write articles? Why put pictures
with nice quotes and things like that? Why do all of that?
Well, the reason why
is that when you create a piece of content, it's what I like to call a virtual
real estate. So it's, it's there forever, like I started my YouTube channel, I
don't know, like nine years ago and the videos that I've put nine years ago,
they're still working there. And the video works for you 24/7, it doesn't ask
for holiday, it doesn't ask for a pay rise, it's not complaining, it’s just
working, working, working for you.
And
you never know how many people will see the video that you put on Facebook, on
YouTube or on Instagram or wherever it is, and that video is producing results
for you, if you do that video correctly, of course, if it has the necessary
parts, like the call to action. If you do a video, you should at the end of
that video, you should have some sort of a call to action, you know, some an
instruction for people what to do. So hey, you know, if you like what you hear,
message me or hey, drop me a comment or hey, you know, go to this link, or hey,
share this video if you got value, and so on, right?
So should have some sort
of a call to action. But producing this content can greatly expand your
business and your results because now it's not only you reaching out to people,
but then the content you're producing starts causing people to reach out to
you. And that's powerful. That is very, very powerful. So think about what's
your strategy in terms of that, like, I do a Facebook live every day. And for
some of you that might oh my God, Facebook live every day. Yeah, this is like
387th Facebook Live that I've done, which is pretty awesome, right? Like for
the last 387 days, I went live every single day, which pretty cool, isn't it?
So, but that's my strategy, right?
That's my plan Anyway, you know, and I do
that every single day. But you might choose different strategy, you might do a
video a week, or you might do I don't know, you might do three videos a day and
beat me to it right? It doesn't really matter. But what's your strategy? What's
your plan for social media? What's your plan for putting content out there and
driving people to you, instead of just you going and looking for people, you
know what I mean?
I think it's invaluable. I think it's incredible and it's
free guys. ages ago, you had to pay to upload your videos top sites, you had to
pay to be in front of so many people and do live broadcasts. You had to pay to
do webinars. Now it's free. It doesn't cost you anything, to do webinars to
upload videos, to go live in front of thousands and thousands of people. So why
wouldn't you use right? This doesn't make sense to me. You know what I mean? If
you are in business, if you want to grow, it's just no better way.
That’s my training and tip for you. Hope you got value some value in this blog post, if you did, feel free to share it with other people.
