Why Many People Don’t Treat Their Business Seriously?

In this blog post I want to talk about why so many people don't treat their network marketing business seriously.

Okay, so I've only seen this like a million times, people starting in network marketing, people starting their own home based business, and then they don't take it seriously. You know, they just don't. And you know, what’s the reason? The reason for that is because it doesn't cost that much. You know, when somebody buys a McDonald's franchise, and they invest like 500,000 to a million pounds, guess what, they traded seriously, because they put a lot of money on a stake.

If they don't treat their business seriously, it will go down, it'll go bust, but they will still owe the money to the bank and that's why they work 16 hour days, that's why they are so focused on the business because they put a lot of money in it. And most traditional businesses out there, I like that, whether it's the restaurant, or a local shop, or an off licence, or whatever those people have puts a lot of money into starting that business. But when people get into network marketing business into a home based business, most of them will start with a couple of hundred pounds.

And that's where they don't really seriously because hey its few hundred pounds, it’s like free Chinese takeaways or whatever, you know what I mean, it's not a huge life changing amount of money, they know that they can go, work for a week and make that money back. So this way, they don't treat the business seriously because there's no risk, because there’s no repercussion of not doing it seriously. I've only seen it a million times when people register, buy the sample kit, buy some products, etcetera and few weeks later, they quit, you know, because whatever, you know, I don't care, it's 50 quid, 100 quid, I'm not going to waste my time, waste my energy on it, etcetera. It's because they haven't committed enough to the business and when people do; start traditional businesses, when they invest hundreds of thousands of pounds, then they have to make it work, then they have to commit.

So what's my advice, then, for you? Well, my advice for you, is to treat this business as if you've invested a million pounds in it, treat this business as if you've invested a million euros in it, treat like you invested a million dollars in it, wake up each morning, with your head on fire, thinking that oh my gosh, I've invested all of this money, and I know you haven't. But you have to trick your mind into starting to treat the business seriously. And even if it's part time, even if you still go to your full time job, Monday to Friday, nine to five, or whatever, cool, no problem.

But still treat your businesses seriously even if you're only giving it an hour a day or two hours a day, really become serious about it, become professional about it, start setting appointments, get a diary, start calculating , what are you making? What are you spending, what profit is this business giving to you, etcetera? How many appointments have you had, what is the result out of that, and so on, and so on? So you know what I mean? Start treating it as if you invested all of your life savings into this business.

And guess what, you'll start producing different results, you'll start getting different results, because you will start treating that business like it's a priority, like it's an important thing. Because right now, because you only put 50 pounds, 100 pounds in it, you don't give crap about it. You know, you don't even if it works out great if it does, right and that's what psychologically, maybe you want to become successful. But psychologically, because you understand that you're not risking anything, you're not urgent about it, you're not forced to do anything because if it works, it works, if it doesn't, it doesn't, you know what I mean?

But if you had a lot of money in it, if you've invested, if you had to mortgage your house, and put all of that money to start your business now that would be urgency, because you need to repay it back, because you need to make the money back, you know what I mean? So start treating your business, like I'm not saying, “Hey re mortgage your house and put the money in,” right? You don't need to do that. Network Marketing doesn't require an investment like that.

But start treating it as the you've put all of that money, start treating it as if you're a CEO of your
multi-million pound company, start treating it as if you know you have to give a report at the end of the week to your bank every single week, about your activity, about what your business is doing, about how it's growing or the bank is going to come and take it away from you. You know what I mean? Change the way you look at it, and the business will change for you.
