When you’re HOT don’t Stop!

Today I wanted to talk to you about when you’re hot, don’t stop. What does that mean?



What it means basically, it takes time to get your network marketing business into the momentum. So sometimes it might take you a month, two months, three months, if you're just starting in your network marketing, or maybe you've been in network marketing for a while, but you sort of relaxed, you took the time off, you wasn't really focusing and working, maybe you were taking some time out and now you’re getting back in the game, it's going to take some time to get your business back into the momentum.

It might take you a month, it might take you two months, it might take you three months of focused activity to get your business back into momentum, where it's rocking and rolling work, loads of people are joining, there’s loads of activity happening, you’re developing your leaders, things are happening, and one of the biggest mistake that people do, once the business gets into the momentum, that's when they make a decision; okay, I can now relax. And I was one of those people as well. You know, as soon as my business used to get into momentum I’d go, “Okay, time to relax now, people are working, things are happening so I can chill out for a bit.” That's the biggest mistake you can do.

When you are hot, you don't stop. So once your business gets in the momentum, you need to do whatever it takes to keep driving that momentum, to keep pushing the business forward, to keep going with the wave, because if you keep going with the momentum, it will be easier for you now to attract new people, it’ll be easier to develop new leaders within the team, it will be easier to run contest, to promote people, to get people excited because this thing's already happening. So the momentum is already happening. So things are already hot and when you have a hot fire, then whatever you throw at it, it'll go on fire as well.

So what you want to make sure is that once your business gets into the momentum, once you get hot, don't stop, and keep going. And same with yourself sometimes you have good days, sometimes you have not so good days, and sometimes you can turn into weeks and then into months.

So again, when you feel the motivation, when you feel on fire, that's the time to start acting and to keep doing the activity every single day, one of the big mistakes people do they go to events, or they buy some training courses or they hire some coaches and as they’re going through the training, as they’re going through the event or as they’re being coached by the coach, they get fired up, they get excited, and they get home and they don't do anything. They go, “Ah I’ll start from Monday, and I’ll start from next month.” That's the stupidest thing you can do. Because once you have that energy, once you've got that excited, once you've got that fire burning, now is the time to start driving your business, now is the time to take activity.


So the worst thing you can do is go to a training event or hire a coach or go for a training program and then do nothing because that knowledge then, that information that you just gained is completely wasted.

What you want to do is when you’re hot, you go, you don't stop, you keep going, you start applying that knowledge, you start applying those skills, you start using that and that's what's going on keep you going and that's what's going to get you momentum and then it's like a loop, it's like a cycle so because you got fired up, you did activity which got your results which means you go back, you get excited about the results so you do more of the activity which produces more of results which gives you even more excited and so on and so on and so on and then you get it a good cycle of where you get when you wake up in the morning, you’re excited about doing things, you’re excited about your business, you’re excited about what's happening because you’re keeping the momentum going.
