Success Is A Way Of Life - Not A Destination

This topic is about; when the student is ready, the teacher appears. You might have heard that quote, but what does it mean?



When the student is ready, the teacher appears, what it basically means, for me, at least, especially when it comes to home based business, especially when it comes to network marketing, you have to understand that you are in a prospecting business, so you'll be prospecting people for your network marketing, you're going to try to recruit them, you're going to try to invite them to take a look at your products, you're going to try to invite them to take a look at your business. And some people that you will prospect will say no to you, actually, let me correct that. Most people that you will prospect will say no to you, they'll say, “No, I'm not interested, no, not right now." But what it basically means, it doesn't mean no forever, it just means that that person at that particular time is not ready.

When I was approached to join a network marketing business, I was ready. If they approached me, I don't know, six months before I was approached, I would have said no, because I was in the middle of writing my dissertation for my degree in university and I would have probably said, “No sorry, I'm too busy, not interested in the home based business.” If I was prospected assist six months later, God knows what I would have been; maybe I would have been in a different place. You know what I mean? So I was prospected just at the right time when I was ready.

Very often when you prospect somebody who's ready, guess what, they just go, “Oh my gosh, I've been looking for something like this. I've been searching for a way to earn extra income. You just in time, yeah, I'm ready. I want to do it. Where do I sign? Let's rock and roll.” But you know the people that you're having a hard time, motivating them every day and pushing them and raising them from the dead every single week. Well, maybe they just not ready.

Maybe it's just not the right time for them to rock and roll; maybe it's not the right time for them to start a new business. So when the student is ready, the teacher appears, it applies to different areas of your life. When you ready to learn something, then you start noticing things and again, it's not that the teacher is appearing, but you are starting to notice things that you actually need for your goal. That's why very often is so important to set your goals and to visualize, because when you’re programming your mind for what you want, then your mind starts noticing opportunities and people and situations where you could get closer to that goal.

But the opposite is also true and what it basically what's the opposite? Well, the opposite is that you sometimes you have to learn the lesson before you're ready. Maybe not before you're ready, but you need to learn the lesson, and when you’re not listening to the signs, when you're not listening to what's happening around you, God will start increasing the volume. So, you know you get that little bit of pain and you ignore that, and that becomes a bit stronger and you ignore that and then bam! You get a heart attack or something, right. That's God, increasing the volume. So you start listening.

Maybe that's a very morbid example, you know, very intense example. But what I mean is that unless you learn your lessons, life will keep bringing you back to the same lesson. Where I come from, in my primary school if you didn't do well enough in school, they would leave you second year in the same class, so if you were in year three and you did a crap job out of it, they’ll leave you in year three again. I know in UK they don't do that they just progress you regardless. But where I come from they will leave you again. And life is it works on the same principle.

If you're not learning your lesson, if your last five years looked a lot like the five years before that, chances are you're not listening to the science, chances are you not learning the lessons and live just keeps bringing you back to the same place and God just keeps increasing the volume, it keeps increasing the pain so that you would start listening and changing something about your life to the positive side.
