When is the BEST time to recruit somebody?

I want to do a very quick blog about when to recruit a new person in your business. So I wanted to do a blog here talking about getting in the groove, talking about the winning streak. What do I mean by that? So the question of this blog is, when is the best time to recruit somebody? So, when is the best time to recruit somebody new in your business?

Straight after you've recruited somebody else. You see the mistake that I used to make and the mistake I see many network marketers make is when they get some success, so they’re working failure, failure, failure, failure, and then they go boom, success, and they get success. So they recruit somebody or they sell something, or they have a good month and they take it as a sign, oh, time to relax now, I've just recruited somebody, I'm done for the day. I can go watch some TV now. I did my job. Yeah, today I did well, yeah, I recruited somebody. Yeah, I’ve sold some products, absolutely I deserve some rest now.

And that's like the biggest mistake you can do. And I used to make this mistake all the time. I would be sabotaging my own success all the time by doing this exact thing. So I would be working all day, like I need a recruiter, I need a recruit. Try to speak to somebody, no, not open. Okay. Try to speak to somebody else. No, not open started. Oh, yeah, I'm open. Awesome. Show them the business they join, I go, “Yes, that's it done for the day. I can go relax now.” And that's like the stupidest thing. Why? Because when you just recruited somebody, when you just sold, you are here mentally, you're like on the high, now you're full of confidence because when would you be the most confident, when you just had the success.

If you've just recruited somebody, if you’ve just sold the product, now is the time to go recruit more people. Now it's the time to go sell more. Why? Because you're going to roll in with this massive posture. You're going to be like gangster. You are full of confidence. You know what you're doing. You just had a success. So you speaking to this new person, you go, “Yeah, yeah, man. Yeah, everybody joins, I just recruited Lucy.” 
You’re coming across with this amazing ethos.

So that's not the time to relax. That's not the time to go, “Hey, we can chill out now watch some Netflix.” No, whenever you have some success, try to roll on it. Try to make it into a streak of success. Try to make it two in a row, three in a row, five in a row, 10 in a row. Because if you use that, that's momentum guys. That's how you get into momentum. And same with having a good month.

I don't know how many times I've seen people in network marketing have an incredible month of business, finish up, close really strong, hit new qualification, etcetera, only to go and relax next month and go down the level, down two levels or down three levels and you go, “Why would you do that? You have to keep the momentum going, you have to keep at it because that's how you explode your business.”

When you have a great month, then you have a better month, then you have even better month, then you have even better. Yeah I know it's tough, yeah I know it's demanding, yeah I know it takes a lot of energy and a lot of passion and a lot of everything, but if you keep going, then it will take off the ground, your business will go off the ground. Like that airplane is going down the runway, they have to push all the way, they have to put all the acceleration, but once it lifts off, that's when you can relax a bit, but you have to get the business in the momentum first.

That's why you have to use this law of momentum, law of success streaks, so you recruit somebody, now is the time to go recruit somebody else. You sell product, now is the time to go and sell somebody else. You have a great month in business, now it's the time to get another great month in business, because it's harder to get a great month of business after you had a shit month for business. So if you had a great month of business, that doesn't mean go relax now, that doesn't mean go watch Netflix for half a month because you did so great last month, you can wear the pin now and tell everybody that.

No, now is the time for you to keep the winning momentum. Now is the time for you to walk around with your chest puffed up full of confidence, full of excitement saying, “Hey man, I've just crushed last month, this month I'm going to do even better, you in or you out?” People will feel that the radiating waves of you, they will feel you wave when you’re on the success streak, when you’re in the momentum and that's the time to keep going. That's not the time to relax. I used to do it all the time.

When I first started, I used to sabotage myself all the time. Every time I would have a great month, next month, I would relax, I would take my foot off the gas, I would stop recruiting, I would stop getting new customers because it's doing well anyway, right? And it would go back down and I go, “Oh, crap, I need to work again to lift it back up.” It's such a crazy thing but so many people do that. So don't repeat that mistake. Most of the things I teach you is the things that I did wrong. That’s why I teach you these things because I know it bloody doesn't work. I did it before.
