When distributors QUIT?
This blog has the title of when distributors quit. So I wanted to talk about that,
what's the reason people quit the business?
And obviously there’s a lot of
different many reasons why people quit, but one of the biggest reasons is that
their diary’s empty. So one of the reasons why people quit the business is that
they diary is empty. They haven't got any meetings because I've never seen a
distributor, quit the business with a full day of appointments, who has like 12
appointments next week and they go, “That's it. I give up. I'm not doing this
business anymore.” Never seen that happen. But I've seen plenty of distributors
quit the business with an empty diary, with no appointments, nobody to call,
nobody to reach out to nobody to talk about business.
That's one
of the biggest dangers for your distributor to get in a situation where they've
got nobody to talk to. So what's the solution, well solution is to get meetings.
So I know a lot of us building our business online, we're using Facebook, we're
using Instagram, we're using LinkedIn, we're using Snapchat, we're using all of
these different apps and social media sites etcetera in order to grow our
business. And it's amazing. I absolutely love it because it just allows you to
reach out to so many people, it allows you to build an international business,
it allows you to meet people you would have never met otherwise.
However, why
not aim to book at least two or three coffee meetings every single week with
somebody? So why not go through your phone and go, “Oh, this person I
completely forgot about this. Oh, this one, I could invite them.” And invite a
couple people. Just send them a text going, “Hey, Susie, how's things, long
time? Love to catch up? Can we grab a coffee sometime next week?” And start
booking some meetings. Will everybody agree to have a coffee with you? Of
course not. Will you meet up with everybody? No. But if you can start booking
yourself two, three coffee meetings every single week, guess what’s going to
happen, your business will start exploding as well.
So
think about who could I meet face to face. So first of all, go through your phone
and your actual friends, but then why not reach out to people on social media
who are also local to you, you see one of the biggest mistakes people make in
using social media for their business, that they think that social media is to
replace human contact, that social media is to replace face to face
communication, that social media is to replace all of that. No, it isn't.
That's the biggest mistake.
Social media is just another way for you to contact
people. But the end game is still to meet up with that person face to face if
you can, and have a cup of coffee with them, is still to meet up with them on a
video call and have a face to face with them. That's the whole point because
that's how the relationships are built. That's how trust is built. That's how people
get to know you and trust you and like you. That's the way through the face,
whether it's on the video call or whether it's a live meeting.
So even though
yes, you can reach people all over the world using your social media, why not
join a local group on Facebook and let's say you live in Milton Keynes, you can
put in Milton Keynes groups, and it'll give you a bunch of groups that are in
Milton Keynes. So if you live in Milton Keynes, you can join the groups that
are of interest to you. So if you are a mom maybe joined Milton Keynes mums, if
you are a businessman, maybe join Milton Keynes buy and sell or whatever and then
through those groups, you can contact people who are local to you, right? You
can go through the group and see some people will have in their profile where
they live, and you see oh, this person lives in Milton Keynes, why not check
them out? Why not to have a look on their profile and if you like the
person, send them a friend request, message them.
But now if you’ve
started exchanging conversation with that person, and it's going somewhere, they
are local to you, you can go, “Hey, I love connecting with you. Why don't we go
grab a cup of coffee?” Because that's where the biggest money is made, you
know, they say network marketing meetings make money. So it's so true. You
know, there's one thing to meet somebody over the phone and have a chat with
them or send them few messages on messenger. It's a completely different thing
when you meet that person face to face when you have a cup of coffee with them;
when they get you sample your product, when they get to see some materials,
maybe a video.
It's a completely different dynamic; it's a completely
different energy. And that person now knows that you are real person, you're
not out there to get them you're not there to scam them, you know, there, whatever,
you know what I mean? So don't disqualify these live meetings because I know
some of you are very progressive and you all that's like a dinosaur technique that
they used to use 50 years ago, network marketing, I'm too cool for that. You
know, I just use my Instagram and my Facebook. Hey, cool, do all of that but
still have some coffee meetings still have some face to face meetings where
somebody can see you, try your product, see your business for what it is you will see how much more your business can grow if you do that.
Okay that's my tip for you; have some coffee meetings, book some appointments
with some real people to meet up face to face and you'll see you enjoy the
process and you'll have more customers and more business partners in your
business.
