What type of VIDEO content to create in network marketing?
Today
I wanted to talk about what type of content, especially video content to create
if you want to progress in your business, and if you want to attract people,
and if you want to make more money by creating content.
I think by now, you
should not be asking yourself a question whether you should be creating content
because that's a given. Like, the world is going social. The world is going on
internet, the world is going mobile. At anytime soon, you're not going to stop
using this device. Nobody’s ever going to stop using their phones.
It's
only going to keep progressing and more and more people will start using social
media and whatever is going to come next. So the question shouldn't be like, “Oh,
should I mention make videos, should I start putting some content out there?”
Yes, by now you should be quite clear that you shouldn't be doing that if you
want to gain presence online, if you want to start attracting people to you.
But then once you realize that you should be doing it, a lot of people ask the
question, “Well, what should I talk about? If I'm going to do videos, because
videos now work the best, what should I talk about in my videos?” There's few
things that I would recommend if you're in network marketing, there's a couple
of things I would recommend for you to talk about.
Video
type number one is company specific. So if you can do company specific videos,
if your company allows you to use the company name and talk about your company
in your videos, that's a great type of video to do. Why? Because you're going
to attract people who are going to be looking for your company. I have people
who join my team, who come from my videos on Facebook or on YouTube about my
company.
So because I'm producing videos about the marketing plan about the
products about the samples and things like that, people who are researching my
company will very often run into videos by me and say, “Well, this guy is not
totally stupid. Let me message him and join his team.” So I've had people reach
out to me, because of the company specific videos that are uploaded a year ago,
two years ago, three years ago, four years ago, and so on. So that's first type
of video that you might want to start producing and putting on social medias,
is company specific videos, of course, if you can do that.
The
second type of videos that I would recommend to do is network marketing
specific videos. So again, if you want to attract people into network marketing
business, then you want to start talking about network marketing. Because one,
again, there's a chance that people who are researching network marketing will
run into your videos and say, “Hey, this person talks about network marketing.
They seem to know what they're doing. Let me message them and join their
network marketing business.” Also, whatever you talk about, you position
yourself as an influencer in that area, as an authority in that area.
Now, you
don't need to say that hey, I'm an expert in network marketing. I'm a network
marketing guru. You don't have to say that, especially if you're not, but
people will perceive you this way anyway. Because they'll see wow, if this
person has done 600 videos about this particular topic, that they must know a
thing or two about this thing. It's the branding that you're putting out there.
It's the positioning that you're putting yourself in. So when you talk about
network marketing, again, there's a chance that you will be attracting some
people.
The
third type of video that you might want to do is product specific videos. So
again, if you have a health product, you might want to talk about health. If
you have a beauty product, you might want to talk about beauty. If you have a
cleaning product, you might want to talk about cleaning, and so on. So again,
when you talk about your product area, so you don't just have to talk, “Let me
tell you about this product. And now, let me tell you about this product.”
You
don't need to do that. I mean, if you have a product that helps people lose
weight, you could be talking about nutrition, about diet, about exercise, about
weight loss, never even mentioning your product, but you will become an authority
in that particular area, and people will research you and people will ask you
and you will then be able to plug in your product. And people will be a lot
more likely to buy a product from you if they perceive you as an expert in that
particular area.
And
then the last fourth type of video that I would recommend for you if you are in
network marketing, is personal development. Now, somebody said network monitor
is a personal development course disguised as a business. And I agree with
that, unless you grow yourself, you can't really grow your business. So when
you do videos about personal development again, what are you doing? Who are you
talking? You're talking to your potential audience. Because the people who join
your team, would you like people to join your team who do personal development?
Or who don't do personal development? Of course, silly question.
For sure, you
would want people who do personal development to join your team because they
will be stronger, more confident, more resilient, more committed. So if you
start producing personal development videos, and people start watching it, and
then one day they decide that they want to make extra money from home and join
a network marketing opportunity, guess whose business they will be joining, of
course yours, because they already look up to you. You already have some sort
of influence on them.
I
remember Fraser Brooks explained it was simple. The more of your content
somebody consumes, the more influence you have over that person. So the more
videos that you produce, and the more people watch those videos, the more
influence you will gain over those people. Because once they have consumed a
lot of your content, they will start respecting you, they will start trusting
you, because they'll see that, hey, this person shares valuable ideas and
valuable information.
So these are the four types of video content that I would
recommend you to do on Facebook, on Instagram, on LinkedIn, on YouTube,
wherever you are. These are the great pieces of content that I like to produce.
I do a lot of videos in these areas in order to attract people to my business
in order to position myself in my business and out there and to show off my
brand to other people.
