The BEST video formula for Facebook and YouTube!
Today
I wanted to teach you the perfect video formula for your Facebook Lives and for
your YouTube videos. The perfect formula for your Facebook Live or your
YouTube video, it's a four steps and I've learned this formula from my mentor
Ray Higdon. So I have to give him a shout out. Absolutely awesome. And this
video formula works every single time. So it's four steps, super easy to learn.
Step one, introduction. Introduce yourself who you are. Yeah, I know name is in
your profile, but it's just polite and if people share your video, and
especially if you have a weird name like me, Gediminas, it's a mouthful. Most
people don't even know how to pronounce it. So when I say it, it's easier for
them because now they go, “Oh, I know, I know how to say the name of that bald
guy with a weird accent.”
First step, introduction, introduce yourself, and
you don't need to go, “Hey, I'm so and so and I've got these five degrees. And
this is it.” You don't have to give all the history. You can just literally say
your name. So that's step one.
Step
two is the question and that's the hook. So everybody's busy. Assume that the
person who's watching your video she's got five kids screaming, the husband’s
calling, the TV's on, etcetera, people are distracted, loads of things are
happening. So you want to hook that person so that they want to stay on your
video. So in your first few seconds, you want to tell the person what your
video is going to be about, or what problem it’s going to solve, or what
solution is going to give them or what useful information they're going to get.
Don't start your video and just go, like they go, “What is this about?” Because
people's attention span is short, and if you don't hook them straight away,
they're going to jump off your video. Some people will jump off anyway, but if
you hook them, more people will stay on. So that's step number two question.
So
do you want to make more money working from home or do you want to solve that
weight loss problem once and for all? Do you want to lose weight without going
and starving yourself? Do you want to have creamiest skin without spending
super amount of money on plastic surgery? Whatever it is, you hook them with a
question, do you want this problem solved? Do you want to get this information?
Step
number three then is the content. So you deliver the content, you deliver the
information that you want to share with them. So whether it's a bit of
training, it's a bit of product information, it's a bit of self development,
whatever it is. So whatever your video is about, that's when you deliver the
content which I'm doing right now.
And
then finally, step four is call to action. So a call to action is basically
when you give your viewer an instruction, again, don't just assume that, “Hey, Kyra
will know what to do after the video, Kyra will know to message Me.” No she won’t.
Most people, they’re just not going to assume that they need to take an action.
They'll watch it and go, “Okay, that's it finished. Oh, squirrel.” And off they
go. So you want to give a person a clear call to action? What to do after your
video. Hey, you found this useful, drop me info, if you'd like to find out more,
drop me info or if you'd like to get more information on this, send me a
private message. Or if you like to get access to this, go to this link.
So you’re
giving them a call to action, something to do at the end of your video. You
shouldn't finish any of your videos without giving some sort of a call to
action. Even if the call to action like my call to action at the end of this
video is, “Hey, if you got some value from this video, feel free to share it, maybe
somebody else will get some value too.”
That’s my training and tip for you. Hope you got value some value in this blog post, if you did, feel free to share it with other people.
