The 80/20 rule and planning

Posted by Gediminas Grinevicius on Monday, October 1, 2018 Under: Network Marketing
There is a 80:20 rule or how some people call it the "The Pareto Principle" which basically says that 80% of the stuff we do only has 20% impact on our future, income etc, and the other 20% of the stuff we do has an 80% impact on our earnings and future. Shops know that too, they know that 20% of the best selling items bring in 80% of the revenue and the rest 80% of the stuff only bring in 20% revenue, that's why they put the best selling items at the eye level in the shops.

And the same rule applies to your network marketing team, 20% of the people in your team will do 80% of the volume and the other 80% will only do the 20% of the work. That is why you have to choose wisely who you spend the time with. You want ensure that you spend as much of your time with the right kind of people in your business and also doing yourself the 20% tasks that will have the biggest impact in your business.

That's why next comes the planning. They say if you fail to plan, then you are planning to fail. How true is that. You see success doesn't happen by chance or mistake, success happens ON PURPOSE. Therefore, you have to become purposeful on how you plan your time. Make sure that you consider the most important tasks for your business and allocate time for them - THE INCOME PRODUCING ACTIVITY should get the majority of your time as these are the actions that will give you the financial reward.

Here is a video where I go in a little more detail:

Yours in success
