Six steps to achieving your DREAMS!

I want to talk about the six steps to achieving your dreams. Whatever your goals are, whether it's financial goals, health goals, relationship goals, whatever they are, this six step process has been time tested and proven to work. And I want to share it with you because I think it's so powerful because I have experienced the power of this six step process and it has helped me to achieve many things in my life. So I know for sure firsthand that it definitely works and that's why I want to share it with you. Let’s have a look at those six steps to achieving your dream.

Step number one, you have to form the exact idea of what you want, the more detail, the better it is. What does that mean? A lot of people say, “Well, I want to have more money.” And I go, “Well, here's a pound, there you go, so you have more money now.” And they go, “Oh, no, no, no, I want to have a lot more money.”

So how much more? So your goals, your dreams have to be very specific. You have to know in your head exactly what you want, exactly what level you want to hit. Exactly what income you want to make. Exactly what car you want to drive, what colour is it, what's the interior? Is it leather or is it fabric, what colour is it? Is it a heated seats or is it whatever? The more specific you are with what you want to achieve, the higher the chance of you achieving it because then it becomes more real. Because if your goal or a dream is very abstract, is not very defined, then for your brain, it doesn't sound very real. And your brain then doesn't try to make it real. So, step number one, you have to know exactly what you want.

Step number two then, you have to identify what are you willing to give in exchange for this dream, for this goal? You might not like this one, do you? Oh, I have to give something, I have to sacrifice something. Guys, there is no such a thing as something for nothing. It just doesn't exist. You have to do something in order to get something. You have to plant the crop in order to reap the harvest. You have to put the wood in the stove in order to get the heat, you have to do something or give something or sacrifice something in order to get something else. So step number two you have to identify what will you do in order to get that? What will you sacrifice? What will you give in order to achieve your dream in order to get what you want? So that's step two.

Step three, you have to identify the exact date before which you'll get what you want. So I wouldn't make the date when you will get it because the mistake I used to make when I would write my goals, I would write the date that on that date, I get this or I achieve this. But that was actually a mistake because you should be writing before that date because maybe you'll achieve it twice as fast and you don't even know. So always write before that date. So it has to happen until that date, but it might happen much faster, but it has to have a deadline. Because if your goal doesn't have a deadline, then again, it's just the pipe dream is just, just the wish really. So that's step three.

Step four then, you need to create a plan, how you're going to achieve that. So what things you're going to do, who's help you’re going to need, what you have to learn, what you have to do exactly, in order to achieve that thing. So make that in your head, number four.

And then number five, write that plan down. So you have to take a piece of paper, take a notebook and write out the plan, what you want to get exactly how you want it, very detailed. What you're going to give, what you're going to do, what you're going to sacrifice in order to get it until which date you want it to happen, and write exact plan, how you're going to achieve it. So Step five is to put everything down on paper.

And then step six, in order for you to achieve it is to read that written plan twice a day, once when you wake up and second time, before you go to sleep. Twice a day, you want to read your goals, you want to read your definite major purpose in life, you want to read your mission statement twice a day. Why? So that you program your brain and you prime your brain to look for situations, contacts, people, opportunities for you to achieve that, for you to receive that goal, for you to achieve that dream, and so on. That's the only way.

Too many people make a mistake where they write those goals and put them in a drawer never to look at them again. That's of course better than not writing it at all. However, you will be a lot more likely to achieve it if you constantly remind yourself. That's what I do every single morning guys, when I wake up, I read my goals. Every single morning I read my definite major purpose in life every single morning to remind myself, what am I doing? Why am I doing it? What I'm trying to achieve? And this way my brain keeps looking for ideas, opportunities, information to help me to achieve my goals.
