Simplicity Excitement and Speed
This blog is about simplicity, excitement and speed. One of my mentors,
Irina Oliver, that's her motto. That's her credit. She always says, “Three
things you need for business is simplicity, excitement, and speed.” And it
might look like such a simple concept. Like it's not enough, it can’t be it, it
has to be more, it has to be more difficult, but it doesn't, think about it. Number
one, simplicity.
The more complicated your business is, the less people will be
able to repeat what you've done, the less people will be able to copy what you
doing, the more complicated it is. So you always want to think how can I
simplify my business? So if you think about network marketing, people are
always looking for secret. There must be a secret that these big leaders are
doing that I don't know and that's why I'm not succeeding. And they’re thinking
all of these ideas, but think about it, in it's very simple form, what network
marketing is all about is three things.
One,
you use your own products. If you don't use your own products, you’re dead, that's
it, you're not going to make it in this business, I can tell you right now, you
can stop now. Number two, you share that product with other people. So when you
use it, you have something to share with other people, you have somebody to
give to try your product. And number three, you share the business opportunity
with other people, you share the opportunity to earn money. That's simple.
That's what everybody can do.
Not everybody can do Facebook algorithms. Not
everybody can do complicated webinars and other stuff, but everybody can use
product, share products and share the business. Everybody can do it. That's
simplicity. Number two is excitement. Are you excited about what you've got to
offer? Or are you our network marketing secret agent hiding your sample kit in
a cupboard under the sink, not telling anybody about your product or your
business, scared shirtless to talk to anybody about your products or your
business? Are you one of those people, because that means you're not excited.
If you don't use your own products, that means you're not excited about your
business. If you're not sharing that business with other people on a daily
basis, that means you're not excited about it. You need to find what's going to
excite you. Dig deeper, find what is it that motivates you? What is it that you
want to achieve in life? What pain will you have, if you don't achieve success?
Think about those things because you have to dig up that excitement. Somehow
you need to get that excitement out of you, so that you get fired up. You start
talking to every single person, you start messaging every single person, you
try to get to every single training and every presentation because you are
excited, because if you're not, “Hey, again, you're not gonna make it.” I can
tell you now. Think about it, if you've been in network marketing for a long
time, think how you felt when you first started, how excited you was? Are you
still data excited? If not, you need to change something, you need to do
something to get excited again.
And
number three is speed. Success loves speed. If you’re talking to one person a
month, oh my god, this is going to be a hell of a ride for you. It's going to
be a difficult journey to success because you're going to get bored. You're
going to get sick and tired of this because you doing it so slow. Slow and
steady, they say, wins the race. Not in network marketing, in network
marketing, slow and steady is dead.
So you need some speed in your business.
You need to pick up the speed, how quick are you talking to people? How quick
are you sharing this product? How quick are you trying these products? How
quick are you learning about this business? How quick do you want to build this
thing? If I message you, how long does it take you to respond? If your prospect
willing to join your business messages you, how long does it take you to
respond? If you have a person ready to join, how long does it take for you to
do the registration? If somebody wants to get the order in, how long does it
take you to help that person to make an order?
And if it's anything than right
now, than immediately, then it's too slow. You need to act on it. You need to
get fired up. When you’re calling people you have to have that urgency in your
voice. You call somebody and you go, “Hey, I've got this thing. I've got
another 50 people to call, are you interested or not? I'll send you some
information over what is it? I don't have time. I've got another hundred people
to talk to. You want to see it or not because I got somebody else to call. I'm
in a rush. I'm on the go. You’re in or you are out.” Get some speed in your
business too. So that's my message for today, simplicity, excitement and speed.
Get those three in your business and you will see some fire, you will see some
action happening in your business.
