SERIOUS people vs CURIOUS people?

I want to talk about the difference between serious people and curious people. So, today I wanted to talk about the difference between serious people and curious people and trust me, you want serious people in your business, not curious. I'd rather have 10 serious people in my team than 1000 curious people in my team.

When you're showing a business to somebody, and let's say they've seen the business presentation, maybe the video, maybe the live presentation and there will be a type of people who will give you loads of questions. And they'll just keep asking questions away like, “Oh, what about that? And what about this?” And the way to determine if a person is serious or curious is by asking them, let's say they ask you a question, and you say, “Oh, that's a cool question. But let me just ask you, is answering that question going to get you closer to making a decision to join the business today? Is asking that question going to make you closer to making a decision to join the business today? Is asking that question just something that you like to do?”

So because there's going to be a certain type of people who are just curious, they just asking away, “Oh, can you explain me about all of those incentive programs, please? Oh, awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Can you also explaining about all the ingredients in your products please?” And they'll just keep asking a million questions with no intent to actually getting started.

So by no means, I'm not saying don't answer people's questions, etcetera, but if you catch that a person is just keeping asking and asking and asking and asking and asking questions. Say, “Hey, let me just ask you, is answering this question going to get you closer to making a decision to join this business today? Or are you not even considering doing it?” And certainly, it'll shock them a bit. And then they'll go, “Actually, no, I wasn't actually planning on joining the business.”

So you want to make sure that you've got the serious person in front of you, because what happens if you recruit a curious person, not a serious person? That questions will carry on? They’ll go, “Well, tell me how to sell this product. Aha, aha, aha, aha.” They listen, they're not going to go and sell the product. They'll just go, “Well, now tell me how to recruit people into that.” And they'll just keep asking away like until no end and they will never actually do anything in the business. They'll just stay curious. They’re always curious.

I've met people like that. I don't know how many times in Network Marketing who attend every training event, they bring camcorders, they film the whole thing with no intention of ever using that information. But they'll just keep asking away. So make sure that you spending your time with the right people and that you’re investing your energy and passion into the person who's actually serious and not curious.

That’s my training and tip for you. Hope you got value some value in this blog post, if you did, feel free to share it with other people.
