I want to talk about the fact that over time, everything goes off course. So
the title of this blog is everything over time tends to go off course.
So when they launched the rocket to the moon, or they launched the rocket to Mars or whatever, they set the course and you would think that the rocket would just keep going straight where it's supposed to. But that's actually not how it works. When they launch the rocket to space, it keeps going off course, so they have to keep correcting it back on track, and it keeps going off course and they have to correct it back on track. And think about when you're driving the car, isn't it the same thing, you drive the car straight, but let go of the wheel and the car will start going off course. Same thing happens in your business as well. Same thing happens in your business.
You get started in your business and usually you get trained the basics. You get trained the foundation training, you get trained the basics, and you know what to do. You start doing what you're supposed to do. It starts working for you, you start getting customers, you start getting recruits, your business starts growing and it looks like it's all going on course, all going right.
But over time, your business starts going slightly off course. So you maybe stop doing certain things that you did at the beginning, you maybe start doing certain things that don't really work, maybe you start experimenting with that and the other and before you know it, your results start decreasing, or you're not getting as good results as you used to. So how to solve this problem, how to solve this problem of your business going off course over time. The solution to that is to go back to basics, is to go back to foundation training.
So once in a while, even if you've been in a business for three years, five years, 10 years, what you need to get in a habit of doing is once a year, go back to basics, rewatch the foundation trainings, rewatch the basic trading, remind yourself the getting started things, because you'll realize that oh my gosh, we used to use this thing, but we stopped. I don't even know why. Oh my gosh, we used to use that as well, but we stopped doing that. And this is one of the reasons why I continuously training, we go to America to GoPro recruiting mastery with Eric Worre.
We go to national conferences of our company, we go and buy online courses and things like that. Why do we do that, to keep reminding ourselves, obviously we’re learning new technologies, but we also keep reminding ourselves about the basic stuff, about the stuff that actually got us started. And even the books, once in a while, take a book and read it again. It will speak differently to you and not because the book has changed, it's because you have changed. It's not the same person reading the book already because you have grown, you have developed, you will pick up new things even reading the same book. So that's my tip for today guys.
Keep going back to basics. Keep going back to basics once in a while, to keep your business on track to keep correcting back on course, and your business will flourish and grow very, very well.
