It is easier to KEEP a customer than to GET a customer

I want to talk about customers. The title of this blog post is, it's easier to keep a customer than to get a customer.

Now big companies understand this. And that's why they spend a lot of time and effort in communicating with existing customers, offering products to existing customers, giving discounts and deals and promotions to existing customers, instead of trying to always get new customers, because a new customer is a lot more expensive, then an existing customer buying again. But very often home based business owners, people who have small business don't realize this thing and they always keep chasing new customers. Now, should we always be looking for new customers?

Of course, however, we should also make sure that we are in constant communication with our existing customer base. Because if somebody have bought from you before, if somebody took their credit card out or cash out and paid you before, that person is 10 times more likely to buy again from you than somebody completely cold who never heard of you, who never bought from you before. Think about how you can stay in touch with your existing customer base.

Maybe you could have a Facebook group, maybe you could have a messenger chat, maybe you could have a WhatsApp group, maybe you could have a telegram channel or whatever, some form of communication with your existing customers where you can give them discounts, where you can give them special offers, where you can announce new products, where you can announce promotions and so on. Because this will give you again extra sales on top of those new customers that you're looking for all the time.
