IMPATIENCE will kill your business

Today I wanted to talk about why impatience going to kill your business.

So when you start your home based business, I know you want the results as fast as possible, you want to make the money as fast as possible, you want to progress as fast as possible, you want to make leaps and bounds in your business however, consider this example, consider you have a baby, well, some of you already had babies, some of you are yet to have one, so imagine you have a baby and the baby is crying a lot and the baby is making a lot of noise and he’s pooping and eating and crying and pooping and eating and crying and you get a little bit fed up with that. You just go, “You know what, all of this crying, all of this nonsense, it's annoying me. Let's feed the baby three times more so that the baby grows up three times faster.” Could you do that? No, because you'll kill the baby. If you feed the baby three times faster, you're just going to kill the baby, it’s not going to grow three times faster.

So same applies to your business sometimes, it has to take some time for you to grow and for your business to grow. Sometimes you hear these stories about people winning the lottery, they win millions in the lottery, and few years down the line, they're broke again. They're bankrupt again. They're poor again. How can that  happen?

Well, maybe because the people who got the money, we're not prepared to earn that type of income, we're not prepared to handle that type of money. So when you haven't grown to deserve that type of money, when you haven't grown to be able to handle that type of money, even if somebody gives you that money, you're just going to waste it, you're just going to lose it.

Same in your business, sometimes you have to grow yourself and your business over time for you to be able to earn the type of money that you want to earn, for you to be able to reach the level that you want to reach, for you to be able to lead the amount of people that you want to have in your team because if somebody just gave you 10,000 people team right now, chances are, you wouldn't know how to handle it. You wouldn't know how to lead those people. You wouldn't know how to help these people and that team of 10,000 people over the next couple of years, it will just crumble down into nothing, but when you are growing with your business, when you are helping other people and when you’re adding person by person, leader by leader, training by training, you are growing with your organization.

Then when you do finally reach 5000 people in your team, 10,000 people in your team, 50,000 people in your team, guess what, you are equipped to handle that type of team, you are equipped to lead that type of team, same with money, if somebody just dropped a million into your bank account, chances are it'll be gone by the end of this year because you just wouldn't know how to handle that type of money but when you start earning few hundred pounds a month, then 1000, then few thousand, then 10,000, then 50,000 you gradually learn how to handle that money, you gradually learn how to navigate with that type of money.

The worst thing you can do is being patient and go, “Well if it doesn't happen by the end of this month, then I quit, if it doesn't happen by the end of the next three months then I quit.” It wouldn't be wise, go back and read the biographies of super successful business people, go and study right now who are the top business people in the world, study how long they been in business, I promise there’ll be very few cases where this person started the business yesterday and became super successful in two months right and became a millionaire. Yeah you always have these unicorns; people who come out all sudden and just get in the right place at the right time and get lucky and make that type of money.

But for each person that got lucky quickly there's going to be maybe 50 business people who work their butts off for the last 10, 20, 30 years to get to that type of income, to get to that type of portfolio, to build that type of incredible business etcetera. You see the stories of how Google started in a garage, how amazon started in a garage, how all of these business started small and grew up to be the million and billion companies that they are today.

So again you have to understand that if you’re in home based business it's no different, if you buy a McDonald’s franchise they tell you that you're not going to be making money for the next 10 years and people are investing half a million pounds, no problem knowing that they're not going to make money for the next 10 years. When people start in a home based business they see somebody at the end of their journey, they see somebody who's already making $20, 000, $30,000, $40,000 a month and they go, “Why am I not there, why am I not yet there?” It takes time, you have to give the business time because otherwise that impatience will kill your business, it’ll get you demotivated, it’ll get you disappointed, it’ll get you angry, it'll get you whatever and you'll stop working, you’ll stop doing the activity, you'll stop chasing your dreams because you’re just not patient enough.
