Success Is A Way Of Life - Not A Destination

This topic is, if you're not helping me grow, then you've got to go. Interesting. Is that a bit rude? Okay, so let's figure out what all of this mean?



Well, what it means, I remember reading this quote, and it said, if you're the smartest person in the room, you're in the wrong room and I thought, hmm, isn't it interesting? I always like to be the smartest person in the room. But that means I'm in the wrong room. So what do we need to do? Well, the people that we associate with will have a massive impact on our life. So people that we associate will have an impact on where our life will go. There is a thing called Being Poor by Association.

If you associate with poor people, there's a big chance that you will become a poor person. Now, how would that be? Why would that even be? The reason why is because the people that you’re spending your time around with, you will start picking up their ideologies, you will start picking up their philosophy, their way of life, their thinking, their mentality, their attitudes, etcetera. So it applies to both ways. You know, if you’re spending time with successful, positive, achievers of life, and then guess what, you'll start picking up their philosophies, you'll start picking up their ideology, you will start picking up their habits and this will eventually lead you to have similar life, like those people. But if you spend time with people who like to spend most of the time in the pub and don't aspire too much have huge TVs, but small libraries, and so on, then that's going to cause you to go that way.

That's why the title today is if you're not helping me grow, then you've got to go now, does that really mean that you have to abandon your family and abandoned all of your friends and people you grew up with? No, it doesn't mean that. But what it means is that if you want to become successful, you will not want to be surrounded by people who are not achievers in life, it's just the way it is. It's like your garden you don't need to plant for the weeds to grow. Weeds grow automatically, but weeds are not good, weeds will kill everything else in your garden. Whereas flowers, you have to plant them, you have to take care of them; you have to look after them.

Well, same with relationships in your life, negative relationships, and relationships that will pull you down relationships, they will drag you down, and those will come automatically. You don't need to really work hard to get those types of connections, you know what I mean? But positive ones, you know, influential people, wealthy people, successful people, you will need to work to get around those types of people, you know, so it doesn't happen by default. It doesn't happen overnight. But it has its rewards. If you surround yourself with those types of people you will grow, your life will start changing and so on.
