How to share your product if you’re scared to sell?
I want to talk about how to share your product if you're scared of selling.
So very often in the network marketing industry we have people who are
passionate about the product. They love the product, they use the product, but
they're just scared to be a salesperson, they’re scared to sell that product.
They don't want to pass to their friends, they don't want to pass to the
family, they don't want to be pushy, they don't want to be a salesperson. And that's
understandable because again sales have this kind of reputation that salesperson
is somebody who's pushy, who is forcing you to buy something even though it's
not true most of the time. People just have that type of mentality very often.
What
if you are using a network marketing company product, you would love to share
it with other people but you are scared selling? What could you do? Well,
especially nowadays, there is a very, very good strategy that you can use,
which is basically showing demonstrating the product, using social media. So
one of the most effective ways of getting people curious about your product is
actually to use your product publicly. So like when you go to work or other
places, if you're using your product in front of other people, very often
they'll ask, “Oh, what is that you're taking, what is that you're using?” But
you can also do the same thing on social media. So without you going, “Hey, buy
one, get one. I have this amazing product, buy it from me.” You could literally
go on social media and just demonstrate how it works.
If
it's a makeup product, you put it on. If it's a cleaning product, maybe you
demonstrate how it works, if it's a food supplement, again, you take it, you
explain what it does, essentially you explain the benefits of it, how it helps
you, what effect it gives, why do you like it? Why you don't like it? Probably
you wouldn't share why you don't like it. Basically you would talk about the
product without trying to sell it, without saying, “Hey, buy this from me. Buy
one, get one.” You will just actually go into explaining the benefits of the
products, explaining what effects it has, explaining why is it that you like
this product? Why is it the you using? What do you like about it and so on? And
by doing that, you'll sell it anyway, people will buy it anyway. But they'll
buy it out of curiosity, they'll buy it out of wanting to get the benefits not
because you just blasted them, not just because you sold.
So if you're scared
of selling, most effective thing to do is actually do demonstrations. Actually
explain to people why you’re using a particular product and let them try it.
Tell them, “Hey, if you'd like to try it, give me a shout. If you'd like to know
more about it, give me a shout.” So you don't need to be pushy kind of
salesperson in order to sell the product, you just need to actually explain
people what it is and why do you like it? Share your product story, explain why
do you use this product and people will want to know more about it.
