How to prospect your friends and family?

Hey Guys,

When it comes to approaching your friends and family about the business it can be a little awkward. You can't start talking to them as a big shot business person as they have known you for a long time and the sales scripts are probably not going to work on them. Therefore, you need to learn some creative ways to get them to take a look at your business.

That’s why I recommend one of the three approaches.

1. Ask for Help&Support, e.g. “Hey Uncle Tom, I really need your help, I am doing a home based business opportunity presentation and could use your support if you could come and be a friendly face in the crowd for me”

2. Ask for Advice&Opinion, e.g. “Hey John, I need your advice, I have just been offered a business opportunity but you have so much more experience and knowledge, could you take a look at it and let me know if in your opinion it’s worth doing?”

3. Use something they said as a reason, e.g. “Hey Mary, the other day you mentioned that you are a bit short on cash, and I think I just found a way for us to earn some extra income from home, would you like to know about it?”
