Success Is A Way Of Life - Not A Destination

Today I want to talk about how to come up with content to speak on your Facebook Lives, to do your videos, to do your blog posts whatever it is that you do. So how do you come up with stuff to talk to?



There's a lot of people who struggle with that because they say, “Well, how do I create content for my videos? How do I create content for my Facebook Lives?” And if you had to create everything, yeah, then it would be tough, it would be difficult to do that, but what you have to understand is that you don't have to create content, what you have to do instead is the document stuff. So document what you're already doing. Take people on your journey so they can see. If you're going to meet a prospect in a coffee shop, do a video before or after you met that prospect and say, “Well this is a question I get asked, this is how you handle it.”

If you go into a training event, do a video from that training and if you're going to do a home meeting, do a video from that home meeting. So it's more about documenting and taking people on your journey then creating artificial content, artificial posts. Ray Higdon has a great concept called ILT which stands for Invest, Learn, Teach. So you invest your time possibly money to learn something and then you teach other people. A lot of my videos that I do is mainly about things that I'm learning.

So if I read a book, I do a video, if I attend a course, I do a video and that's how I create my content. I don't need to come up with that stuff. All I have to do is just document things that I'm already learning and that's really what you should do too. So whatever you're going to talk about on your videos, just learn something and teach other people what you’ve learned. That's the best way and the easiest way to come up with content.
