Success Is A Way Of Life - Not A Destination

I want to talk about how to answer the question, is this network marketing? Is this MLM? So how to answer if you’re trying to talk to somebody about your business opportunity, if you’re checking if they would be open, and they say, “Is this network marketing? Is this MLM?”



A lot of network marketers get a bit confused and get a bit scared when they get that question, but you shouldn't be. It's okay to get that question. So if you do get that question, first, you should answer it with a question. Most of the time, the best way to answer a question is with a question. So if you get that question, “Is this network marketing? Is this MLM?” You should ask a person, “Oh, are you against network marketing? Or have you got something against network marketing?” And then the person might say, “Yeah, whatever, I have something against it, or I had a bad experience or I love network marketing, or whatever it is.”

But you want to find out straight away if they've got an objection about network marketing, because most of the time when somebody is asking, “Is this network marketing?” They probably either had bad experience or they know somebody, or they've got a preconception in their mind. So that's one.

Number two, when they say, for example, what they like or don't like about network marketing, you could also say, “Well, have you got any other better option of earning more money? Have you got any other options that I don't know about to make extra income from home?” And the reality is that if you ask somebody, “Hey, would you be open to earn extra income?” And they say, “Yeah, but is this MLM?” and then you say, “Well, do you have any other options?” Most people go, “Nope”. And that answers the question, you go, “hey, if you haven't got any other options, then you might as well explore this option because hey, how other way you going to make the extra income? Are you going to get a third job and fourth job, etcetera? That's going to be even harder, isn't it?” So that's a quick tip for you how to answer the, is this MLM question.
