Success Is A Way Of Life - Not A Destination

I want to talk about the cost of not knowing something.



Very often when I speak to people about personal development, about reading books, attending video courses, attending events, people always say, “Oh, but you know, it costs a lot of money. It costs a lot of money to go to this event, it costs a lot of money to buy this training. It costs a lot of money to do this, that or the other.” And I understand, everything costs money and everything is an investment. It may be for me personally, whether it's a book or a training or a course is not a cost for me more, it's about investment. But still, it's an investment, you have to spend money on it.

However, one of the best things that I've ever heard when it comes to buying trainings and courses, was somebody said, “Well, I understand it costs so much, but how much does it cost you not to know that?” Have you ever thought about that? Like how much does it cost you not to know how to make money on Instagram? How much does it cost you not to know how to fully maximize the use of Facebook? How much does it cost you not knowing how to set up a chatbot on your Facebook page? Do you get me?

A lot of these things could actually be making your money, if you learnt it, if you knew how it works, if you study it. Unfortunately, most people are better at finding excuses than at finding time to study something. And you know what? A lot of the times, it doesn't even have to cost you money. It only needs to cost you time and effort because 99% of things that you need to learn, 99% of things that you don't know how to do, you can go on a very special website and find all the answers. Would you like to hear the special website? Would you like me to tell you the special website where you can find all the useful information? Would you like to? Okay, I'll tell but don't tell anybody. Okay. It's a secret.

The website is www.google.com. It's called google.com. Oh, you heard of it? Yeah. Well, that's the website, google.com. If you go on Google, you can find an answer to almost anything. How do I set up my Facebook page? How do I put a video on YouTube? How do I do this? Even better, you can go on YouTube and put the same question there and you will get a video. So it's not even written. So you don't have to read God forbid, you'll invest time to read, you could actually watch a video of somebody doing it. And then you just need to copy what they just done. And you can learn 99% of things like that.

Yeah, you can buy paid courses, and it will have more concise everything in one place, but bunch of information you can just find for free. But too many people are looking for excuses and too many people are finding reasons why, “Oh, I’m too busy. I don't have time to watch a video on YouTube. I don't have time to go Google.” And then they go, “But I don't know how to do that. I don't know how to do this.” Well, what’s your excuse? Why don't you know? I mean, it's not brand new. It's like Google's been there for a while, YouTube's been there for a while, you could have gone and watched 10 videos, 15 videos, 20 videos until you understand and learn it, and then go and use it.

How much money have you lost already, by not learning certain things, by not learning how to build your business, by not learning how to recruit people, by not learning how to sell products, by not learning how to set up your website? There's just so many things that other people are using to make money that you are losing money on because you haven't spent the time and effort to learn how to do that thing. It just amazes me and, hey, I'm not perfect either. I could have made a lot more money if I started learning, if I started investing in myself, way, way, way earlier and I could have bought I didn’t. I waited, I don't know for what. But now it just amazes me how easy it is to learn things, how easy it is to discover things and to apply them into your business and start seeing great results pretty fast, pretty quick.
