Success Is A Way Of Life - Not A Destination

I'm at my mentors Irina’s house, and she had a very interesting thought today. You know how a lot of people when we talk with them about home based business, they say, “Oh, I don't know a lot of people.” Irina just said, “Wonderful.” That's exactly what we need to ask people. How many people you don't know?



I'm sure you don't know, millions of people, billions actually. You don't know billions of people. Now, guess what? Everybody doesn't know more people than they do know. We don't know a bunch of people. Guess what? All of those people, we can reach out and get to know them.

The purpose of social media is for us to turn strangers into friends and friends into family. The question for you is how many people you don't know. Do you think you could ever speak to everybody that you don't know in your lifetime? Probably not. You have a big, big, big pool of people to talk to about your business, isn't it? There’s loads of people you don't know. Just reach out to people you don't know because sometimes people give this excuse about a home business where they say, “Oh, but I don't know a lot of people. I don't know a lot of people, so I couldn't build this business.” Great. If you don't know a lot of people, that's amazing because that's all the people we can reach out to.

You don't need to know a lot of people to become successful in network marketing. You need to just have a lot of people to talk to. And guess what, you have billions of people to talk to that you don't know that you haven't met yet. They haven't become your friends, yet. They haven't become your customers yet. They haven't become your business partners just yet. But they are waiting for you to reach out to them. They're waiting for you to get to know them, get friendly with them, and ask them a question, “Hey, would you be open to hear about this thing? Would you be open to hear about my product? Would you be open to hear about my business?”

That's all it takes? Just being okay, with reaching out to people, just making new friends and with social media, it couldn't be easier. When you go on your Facebook, it even tells you, “Hey, maybe you know this person. Hey, maybe you know this person.” All you need to do just send requests, send requests, send requests, and once these people accept, send them a message. Say hi and start a conversation. That's how simple it can be to build your home based business.
