Success Is A Way Of Life - Not A Destination

I want to talk about being uncomfortable. The title of this blog post is get comfortable being uncomfortable.



You see most people would love to be successful in business if it was comfortable. Most people would love to lose a lot of weight if it was comfortable and most people would love to make a lot of money if it was comfortable and convenient.

But guess what? Most of the worvy things in your life most of the great things in your life will not be very comfortable to achieve and you will have to look a bit foolish sometimes; you will have to have a laugh at yourself sometimes as well. And most people will try to be cool and I think we are raised that way; when we go to school, you don't want to embarrass yourself, and you don't want to look stupid. You don't want to be an idiot, right?

You want to be cool, like everybody else, like the cool kids, right? And you grow up requiring this acceptance and requiring to be conforming to what everybody else is doing. But if you think about it, what is everybody else doing? Going broke. That's what most people are doing. You know, slaving away in a job for 50 years. That's what most people doing. Is that what you want to do? Is that the life you want to live? Or would you rather live the life of the few, the people that you see flying private jets, the people that you see living in mansions, the people you see driving by Lamborghini or Ferrari.

Yeah, like the few that know a lot of those people around there, but there are some, so would you rather be like everybody cool like everybody. Or, would you rather be uncool like those guys who fly private jets and live in mansions. Oh, but you'll see, but that's cool. You know driving a Ferrari and living in a mansion is cool. Yeah, it is but getting there most likely wasn't cool. Getting there most likely wasn't cool.

Most of the time you have to risk your reputation, you have to risk your face, you have to risk your ego, you have to risk most of the things that people value so much in order to get there, right because you have to stand out, because you have to grab people's attention and because you have to somehow be different. You don't want to be the same. You want to be different, right?

Whether you're building your own home based business, whether you're in a job whether you wherever you have to stand out, you have to go if the whole crowd is going that way guess which way you should go? The other way, right? The opposite direction, do the opposite of what everybody else is doing. And most likely, you're going to hit the jackpot, most likely you're going to hit gold because what everybody is doing usually is not great. So, part of becoming successful, especially nowadays becoming successful in business involves getting out of your comfort zone, involves risking to look foolish, involves messing yourself up, right?

Like, if we talked about doing a Facebook Live, or running your social media or public speaking or whatever, most of those things involve a level of risk of you looking like an idiot. And it's possible; it is possible that will happen. Like I look like an idiot in every other video, but it doesn't stop me. I still keep doing it right? Because the reality is that by being crazy by being foolish by being outrages you actually catch people's attention, and they go, what the hell is wrong with that guy, I need to look into that. You know what I mean? And that's how you grab attention and that's how you actually start making money as well, you know, because money goes where their attention flows. So if you can grab the attention from people, then you will attract the money to you know what I mean?
