Expert Story Positioning

I want to share with you a strategy that I learned from Brendon Burchard, in one of his trainings about the expert story positioning. So how to position yourself as an expert, and how to sort of present yourself if you want to present yourself as an expert. What is this expert story positioning?

Well, if you want to position yourself on social media, or when you're doing a training or any speaking engagement as an expert, a there's a recipe if you like that helps you to do it in the most effective way. So I've learned this from Brendon Burchard in is training and it goes like this. It's basically a four step strategy.

Step one, you have to share your struggle. Why? Because your audience will be able to relate to that and it will show that you're a real human being like they are. So you share your past struggles, if you struggled with money before, you share how you struggled with money, if you struggled with relationships or with anything else, so you share your struggle, which hopefully is related to the topic that you're going to speak about. So that's step one, your struggle.

Then step two, is your journey towards solution. So how did you discover the solution to this problem? How did you discover a way out that will go ahead and solve your problem. So maybe you read a lot of books, maybe you attended a lot of courses, maybe you spoke to many people. It's called hero's journey. Like, how did you travel towards that solution?

Then step number three is the actual solution. So when you arrived at the solution, what was the solution to that problem, to that struggle to solve that struggle of the past. And then finally, number four is the successes. So now that you found a solution, how did you use the solution to solve those problems? How did you use the solution to change your life? How did you use that solution to improve your life? It's very simple. But if you structure it in that way, whether it's written or if it's a video, or if it's a live speech, it will help your audience, it will help your listener to travel with you through this journey, because sometimes people use it out of sequence. So they come on, they start sharing their successes, then they go back to how it was in the past, and it confuses the mind. And confused mind always says, “No.”

So if you ever confuse your customer, or if you ever confuse your potential business partner, they will always say no, they'll say, “I need to think about it.” If you get a lot of customers or a lot of potential business partners saying to you I need to think about it, the chances are, you're confusing the hell out of them. So keep it simple, keep it logical, keep it linear so that a person understands your story, sees how you travel, puts the two and two together goes, “Okay, she had that problem, she found the solution and she used the solution to solve that problem. So if I join her business, or if I buy the product, I can also solve the same problem in my life.” Make sense? Hope it does.

That’s my training and tip for you. Hope you got value some value in this blog post, if you did, feel free to share it with other people. If you would like more amazing trainings check out “Network Marketing Success Training” group
