Don’t be against CRITICS!

I wanted to jump on here very quickly and talk about critics.

In the home based business arena, in network marketing, people get really upset when they get criticized by others. They really get upset when they get haters on social media. They get upset when the family or friends are not supporting them. And in general, basically, people don't like to be criticized right and especially in home based business we feel so upset, we feel such victims of haters and people criticizing us and all sorts, but if you think about it, there are other professions like actors for example, they make a movie and there are people who are professional movie critics. These people go to a movie and then criticize it.

There are people like restaurant owners, chefs who make food and they have professional critics come to the restaurant, order the food, have the food and they go criticize it. And there's many different professions like that, who actually have like a default setting where there is critics, who come and nitpick what you do and find flaws in what you do. But what these people do, these professionals what they do, they don't get upset by it, they use it as a way to learn. They use it as a way to get better.

But you see a lot of people in home based business arena, they get criticized and they just get upset. They don't take on board the advice. They don't listen to the criticism. They just get upset by it. So next time when you do get a hater, think about first, is this person a professional? Are they qualified to give you criticism? Because if that person doesn't understand anything about the business, then they're in no position to criticize you. But if somebody from your company or a leader, or a mentor or somebody who is qualified to give you advice, criticizes you, don't get upset by it, but think, what can I learn from it? How can I get better at it?

Instead of just refusing it, instead of just rejecting it right away and saying, “Oh, how dare you criticize me?” Think, “Okay, what could I learn? Could I actually improve on this? Could I actually get better?” Because every challenge, every problem is an opportunity in disguise. Even that criticism could be an opportunity for you to get better and to learn something.
