Today I wanted to ask you to stop comparing somebody's success story with your getting started story. So many people do that it is unbelievable. They look at somebody who already made it, who already is making huge money, who's already very successful, who's already at the top of the company or whatever and they go, “Well, why am I not there yet? Why am I not making that money?” What! It doesn't even make sense because nine times out of 10 you don't know what that person had to go through to be where they are today. I've seen it so many times and guys go, “Ah, it was easy for them probably, oh, probably was just like, yeah, yeah, they just did. They were just lucky, they’re just like.”
Actually, I had a conversation with one of my leaders and she said, “Well, when I finally make the rank and I hit the level and I start making the money. When I'm finally there, at least people will respect me and they will say, yeah, finally you made it.” And I went, “No, they won’t.” Because first they’ll say you're crazy and then they’ll say you're lucky. It's only two options, they’re never going to go, “Oh man, you really worked hard enough and you really deserve the success you have and you really deserve the money that you have.” It’s never going to happen. Nobody is ever going to say that to you, at the beginning they go, “Ah, you’re crazy? It's never going to work out for you, nobody's going to join now, you're never going to make it.” And then when you make it they go, “Oh, you're so lucky you started early, you're so lucky you were there at the start.” What! Doesn't make any sense but it's just the way that people think, it's nuts, I know, but it's just the way that people think but if you’re on your journey to success, if you working your business, it doesn't matter whether you just got started or you've been in business for six years without results and now finally you started working seriously, you started really focusing and you’re putting in the work and then you see that leader at the top who’s already a diamond, who’s already whatever and you go, “Oh, it's not fair, I work so hard the whole month and they are diamond and me not.”
Stop it. Stop it, because that's their success story. They are at the end of the journey and you at the beginning. So don't compare the two, you're not allowed. You're not allowed. Stop it. You look where you are and you focus on making progress every single freaking day making progress, speaking to another person, doing another meeting, showing the product to one more person, making progress, pushing forward, pushing forward. That's what you need to focus on. Not on somebody who's at the top and made all the money, etc., because they’ve already done it. They already went through what you are going through right now. So don't think about them. You might use them as an inspiration. You might use them as your target as your goal but don't go, “Oh, why? Why are they getting it and I'm not.” Because they already done it. They already have done it. Like I have never met a successful person, I've never read a book about successful person, I’ve never spoken to one who just went, “Yeah, it was easy peasy for me. I just went straight to the top. No problems, no challenges, everybody just joined my team and everybody was just buying product like literally like I don't know what you're talking about. I had no struggles. It was just like awesome.” I've never met one like literally, I don't know a single person who is successful, who didn't go through challenges, who didn't go through pain, who didn't go through but that's why they're successful.
You have to wrap your brain around it if it was easy, everybody you know would be making millions in network marketing if it was easy but it isn't easy that's why only the few get to the very top not because the business is not fair, not because the companies are rigged against you, not because it's a scam, is because most people, one they're not willing to do the work, they try, “Yeah, first week they’re motivated on fire.” Second week, “Oh this is it, I'm not making millions yet.” Third week, “Oh, I don’t know if it’s going to work out, maybe I'm wasting my time.” Fourth week, “It's not for me. Sorry. I'll go back to my £10 per hour job.” That's all those people are, they’re not patient enough, they haven’t got the patience, they haven't got the guts, they haven't got the stamina to keep going, to keep doing what they need to do until they get the results, until they become successful.
Most people who are successful right now, at the beginning, the first month, two months, three months, four months, sometimes even five or six months, they didn't get results. They didn't make the money. They were still doing it. They were still pushing it. They were still doing activity every single day and then everything changed and then everything breaks through and then they become an overnight success. I heard somebody say it takes many nights to become an overnight success. So same thing here, you have to do what do you have to do in order to get that. So don't compare yourself with somebody at the end of the journey with your beginning because that's the worst thing you can do because that's going to demotivate you, it’s going to piss you off, it’s going to really make you negative and you're going to go, “Ah, whatever. It’s not working for me.”
What? You’ve done it for two weeks, you’ve done it for a month and you already writing it off. Are you nuts? Like, let me put it in another way. Maybe this will make it more clear to you. So I don't know if we have a single doctor on here. So if somebody wants to become a doctor and the doctor, let's say a doctor makes about 100 grand a year. About six figure income. So if somebody wants to become a doctor, they have to go to medical school for like nine years, making pretty much no money and spending like 30, 40, 50,000 a year on University fees. So they spent a couple of hundred thousand pounds without earning anything for nine years with the hope that one day after nine years, they'll be able to start making six figure income. Now come back to network marketing, you join for nothing like free or you pay 100 pounds or something for few products and you want to make six figures today, does that make sense to you?
So give it a year, it's free, you don't have to pay for it, not a penny, you’re making money as you’re learning, you don't have to pay for university to become professional in network marketing, you're not spending 20, 30, 40,000 a year to become a network marketer, you’re earning money as you started. Yeah you’re not making huge money, but you’re making money, you’re in profit from day one. Like I mean if you get a McDonald's franchise, they say it takes like five to 10 years to break even, just to get your money back that you spent, you’re making nothing, no profit, no money for the next five to 10 years just to get your money back, here you start making money right away, you're not paying for learning, you get paid for learning but you still want to make hundred grand in three months, are you freaking insane? Does that even make sense to you? How could you expect that so fast? I don't know how else to explain it. It just drives me crazy when I see that. So give it time, give it 12 months and not 12 months of, “I’ll just wait around, Gediminas told me 12 months. So that it, I've joined today, in 12 months they better freaking start paying me 100 grand a year.” No, working 12 months day in day out every single day doing the activity then you can start expecting to make some serious money, you can start expecting to make some good money, not right away, not without anything, this is like the best way of starting business, lowest overhead and lowest risk. You’re not risking anything, you don't have to remortgage your house to start this business, like a traditional business and you still have an opportunity to make money, save money or even more than people who invested hundred grand, 200 grand, half a million pounds to start the business, you have the same opportunity to make even more maybe money sometimes.
For successful network marketers, the biggest problem is taxes because they make so much profit, like everything is profit, like they go to accountant and then accountant goes, “Whoa, what's your overheads.” And like, “I have a mobile bill, would that count?” Because they don't have to have offices, they don't have to have warehouses, they don't have to buy cars and no expenses.
So you have to be patient guys, you have to give it some time. You have to work the business. It's called net-WORK-marketing, not net wait marketing, not net hang around marketing, not net don't just quit marketing, its net work, marketing. Get serious, get business minded, start doing the activities. Whether you do this full time or part time or some time, I don't care, but do it consistently, do those activities every single day. If you've got half an hour to do this business, then make it count. If you've got an hour day to do this business, make it count. If you've got the whole day to do this business, then stop watching the soap operas, start doing the business, start talking to people, start messaging people, start building the business and you will be surprised not where you will be in three days but where you will you will be in 12 months.
I'm telling you this is going to be insane but just keep going and stop comparing yourself doesn't matter who hit what ranks, doesn't matter who's recruited how many people, doesn't matter who sold how many products, you only focusing on your own progress. Am I doing better this week than last week, am I doing better this month than last month, you’re only comparing yourself against yourself not against other people and you will hit it, I promise you guys, you will get there, you will get there for sure. That's my message for today.
I hope you got some value from this blog post, if you got some value from this, feel free to share it with other people, maybe somebody needs to hear this message too.
Yours in success
