Does market SATURATION affect Network Marketing?

Some people in network marketing think that you have to join a company that has a product that no one else sells, because if you join a company that sells a product that many other companies do then the market is too saturated and you will not be able to sell it. However, that may not be entirely true, because first of all you have to think why would so many companies go into that particular industry and that particular product, the answer is, maybe because there is a huge demand for that product and people are spending a lot of money on those products.

Also, think about other products like that, for example cars or fridges, almost every household has a fridge and a car but you don't see car or fridge companies going out of business because market is "too saturated", there is always new people who need cars and fridges. Same applies to any network marketing product, no matter how many companies sell it, there is always people who will need more of it.

Actually, I would be more concerned in joining a company that has a product that no one has ever heard, because you will have to convince people they have to buy this product. You see if you have the product that everyone uses, then you don't need to convince them to spend new money on it, you just need to ask them to buy it from you instead of buying from the supermarkets, but if you have a product that no one has ever heard of then most likely they are not spending money on it right now, which means you have to convince them to start spending new money on it and so on.

Finally, the same applies to recruiting. Sometimes people say because there is a lot of distributors working with your company the market is too saturated. Again that is very untrue because recruitment is a river that forever flows. Let me explain. 8 years ago when I joined network marketing somebody was 12 years old, that person was definitely not a prospect for my business so I recruited other people, but today that same person is 20 years old, now they are a perfect candidate for my business, and 8 years from now there will be other 12 year olds turning 20 and so on. So there is always new people that are looking for a solution that your business can provide.

Here is a video where I go into more detail:
