Do you RECHARGE your batteries ?

I want to talk about recharging your batteries.

This especially applies to people who are leaders. So the idea of recharging the batteries is especially applies to leaders because as a leader, you're constantly giving, because network marketing is a people's business. It's an emotional business. So what you doing most of the time is you're giving your energy, whether it’s doing a training or doing a Facebook Live, or doing a one to one call or helping somebody solve a problem, or doing an introduction call or whatever. It's all the time you’re giving your energy, you're giving your energy if you're doing it properly, because if you're not giving your energy, then what the hell are you doing because for me sales and you might be selling a product or selling a business is nothing more than a transfer of feeling. If I can make you feel the way I feel about my product, you're going to buy it, if I can make you feel the way I feel about my business, you're going to join it because you will see what I see.

As a leader, you’re always giving your energy, you’re always giving that feeling to other people, you’re creating that culture, you’re creating that amazing environment for people around you, for people in your business. So, if you give, give, give, give, give, give all the time and you don't recharge those batteries, if you don't recharge that pool of energy, then it's just a matter of time before you reach what they call a burnout. Where you go, “Oh, I've got no more to give. I don't want to speak to anybody. I had enough of people.” That's the feeling you will get.

Earlier on in my network marketing career, I realized that I need to find a way to keep recharging those batteries, to keep recharging. Now, in a way the business will recharge it for you in a way because when people are hitting levels, new people are joining your business, you see more points, you see more money that excites you, and that pumps you up that that gives you some energy, but also you have to find ways to supplement it. So things like reading books, attending trainings, listening to audios and so on, will again recharge your energy will give you more energy go at it with new passion with new energy. So for me, you know I do a lot of trainings myself, I do a webinars but I also listen to other trainings. I listen to other speakers. I read the others books because I want to recharge my batteries.

I have to find some way to take energy from as well because if I just give and don't get back very soon I won't have anything to give you know what I mean? So I always try to see you know, where can I get that energy from as well? I might watch you know Eric Worre, I might watch Ray Higdon. I might watch John Maxwell. I might watch Jim Ron or Zig Ziglar or Les Brown or Tony Robbins or Brendan Bouchard, you know what I mean? And this way I get my energy then recharged, I get my positivity back on, and sometimes these people can also be your mentors, your sponsors in business, your upline leaders, also the people who you can draw energy from and draw excitement from and get ideas and get motivation from as well, right?

But you have to have a system, you have to have a routine, you have to have a habit of recharging those batteries. Because if you don't, I promise you, you're going to run out of energy, you're going to have a burnout; you're going to stop being excited because you just run out of energy, right? So, you know, my advice and a lot of leaders think oh, so I need to give less give less energy so I keep more for myself, no it's like a river it has to flow. So you have to give you energy as a leader you have to inspire team members you have to motivate people, but then you also have to take it from somewhere. So you’re almost like a broker, you’re like a middle man just passing on the energy just passing on it. You know what I mean?

You got them from somewhere else and you pass it on to your team, you gather from someone else you pass it on to the people you’re mentoring. And that's how you can keep building incredible business and never have a burnout, never run out of energy to do that right? So you know, attend events, watch webinars, read books, listen to you know podcasts on audio etcetera. Find what is what works for you, what gives you the best way of consuming information and have that to recharge your batteries too. You'll see you'll be glad you did that and it will help you to build a tremendous business.
