Do you have F U N in your business?

Today I wanted to talk about do you have F.U.N in your business, but not the fun type probably you’re thinking of, not fun, a different FUN. F.U.N stands for Fundamental Understanding of Numbers, so what does that mean?

It means, do you have an understanding that this business is a game of numbers? Now people are not numbers, but you have to understand that the business is a game of numbers. What does it mean? It's about ratios, it's about numbers. So will everybody join your business, every single person that you speak to will join your business? Absolutely not.

Will every single person that you speak to buy your products? Absolutely not. There's a game of numbers, there's a ratio. So you have to understand that and then you have to look at, so how many do I get? Maybe you get one in 10? Now, that's the start of numbers. Now you understand that for every 10 people you speak to, one joins your business, maybe it's one in 20, maybe it’s one in 30. And then out of those people who join your business, how many of them will become customers, how many of them will become sellers of products, how many of them will also start team building? It's all a game of numbers.

So if you want to have better results then, then you control it, then you have control over it, because you understand that you can't control the result. You can't control how many people will join your business, you can't control how many people will do something, you can’t control how many people will become leaders and how many want. It's their choice at the end of the day, they control that, but what you can control is your activity. So if you know that, okay, for every 10 people I speak to, one person says yeah, I'll join. Cool, you can control that now, you can use that ratio now to grow your business. So you can start speaking to 20 people a day, 30 people a day, 40 people a day, 50 people a day in order to get the amount of people that you want to become part of your business.

So it's all about numbers. And if you know your numbers, you know your business. So do you analyze your numbers? Do you actually keep track of your numbers? Do you keep track of how many people do I speak to every single day? How many people did I speak to last week? Do you keep track of how many people do I have in my team? And how many of those are active? How many of those are recruiters? How many of those sellers? How many of those are just customers? How many of those are already gone? I mean, they’re still in the system, but they're gone. They aren't doing anything anymore.

Do you have that type of understanding in your business? Do you keep track of your numbers? So that's fun. Now, it might be a different fun than you expected, but that’s a fundamental understanding of numbers in your business. Every business is a business of numbers, you just need to know the numbers for your business and then you can start scaling it up, you can start increasing your business, you can start having better results by controlling your numbers.
