Become the hunted instead of the hunter

In this blog, I wanted to share with you just the concept that we just heard a couple of minutes ago, which is quite interesting and it's about becoming the hunted instead of the hunter.

Most people in home based business, most people in network marketing, they are the hunters. So they always looking for another new distributor, for another new customer and they always pitching people, spamming people, messaging people. So basically, they're actively looking for people and they're basically hunting people, which there's nothing bad with that because when you first get started, you have to look for people because nobody knows who you are, nobody's looking for you just yet, but the idea is that over time, you want to become the hunted, instead of just being the hunter.

Instead of just you looking for people all the time, instead of just you approaching people all the time, over the time, what you want to create, is people messaging you, is people contacting you and saying, “Hey, what is it that you do? Hey, how can I become part of your team? Hey, how can I make money from home? Hey, how can I make money on Instagram and on Facebook? Hey, how can I become successful? Hey, how can I travel the world and the company pays for that? Hey, how can I get a brand new car, and the company covers that?”

You want to create a profile, you want to create information about yourself, you want to build connection with your audience in a way that will make people curious, that will make people go, “What do they do? How do they do it? How do I become part of that because I like what I'm seeing in this person?” So how do you create that? Well, the way you create it is not just by doing sale, sale, sale, sale, sales, pause, because if every single post that you do is, “Hey, buy my product, hey, drew my business, hey, buy my product, hey, join my business.” That becomes a boring pretty fast and it doesn't make people curious. It doesn't excite somebody, because if you just hanging on your company name, if you just banging on the product all the time, then guess what, I can just go on Google and Google it. I don't need to ask you anything, because you've already given me all the information, I can just go online and find it.

But if you create lifestyle posts, where people see the benefits that the home based businesses giving you, where if you create posts about you learning, about you building relationships with other people, spending time with other people, having fun in your home based business and so on, these things over time will start attracting people to you. And you need to think about that also in terms of what is your target audience? So who do you want to sort of attract? And who do you want to work with?

Perhaps you are a stay at home mom, so the chances are, you want to attract other stay at home moms to join your business. So this is the type of post you'll probably be making is to make other stay at home moms curious. If you are a bodybuilder, then maybe you want to attract other bodybuilders, if you are whatever. You think of what is my target audience and what sort of life do these people want to live? What sort of things are these people interested in, and then you start posting that type of things that will make those people curious, that will give value to those people.

Again, value posts are great posts, because when you're posting value posts, it gives value to those people. So think about what my target audience wants to learn, what my target audience wants to know, how can I give value to these people? How can I make it in a way that if that person watches my video, they go, “Oh, I got something from that, I've got an idea, I've got a tip, I've got a value from that.”

Because if you consistently provide value to people, if you consistently make people curious, if you consistently show people your lifestyle, if you consistently show people that you're a real person, just like them, but maybe you're a bit ahead of them, maybe you got something that they haven't got, maybe if you just showcase what benefits your home based businesses is giving to you, like travel, like financial freedom, like being able to spend time with your family and your children and so on, maybe there's people out there who also want those benefits. And I'm saying maybe, obviously sarcastically because there's definitely people out there who want the same freedom, who want to spend time with their families, who want to travel, and so on.

Then they will be curious, and they will message you and they will want to find out, what is it that you do? That's how you become the hunted instead of the hunter, by stopping just posting sales posts and starting to share what is happening in your life, what I what sort of lifestyle things are happening in your life, what benefits are you getting from your home based business? Where are you travelling? What are you learning and passing a lot of that information over to people.

Now over time will start attracting people to you who will want to get the same benefits, who will want to live the same type of life and they will start saying, “Hey, I want to find out more about your business, I want to find out more about what is it that you do so that I can do it too, that I can get those same benefits too, that I can make that extra income from home too, that I can use social media to make that income as well.” So that's how you become the hunted instead of the hunter.
