Become FIERCE at Follow Up

Posted by Gediminas Grinevicius on Sunday, March 10, 2019 Under: Personal Development

Today I wanted to talk about the fact that you have to be fierce at follow up. If you want to treat this business serious and you want to get serious results, one of the biggest mistakes you can do is Chase new business all the time and not follow up. And that's what amateurs do. That's what new people in network marketing do and they miss out on a lot of results. So they just keep going, “Oh, who else can I find? Where else can I find people? Who else can I reach out to?” And they keep sending videos, they keep sending information, but they never go back to those people, never follow up. That's one of the biggest mistakes you can do. So you have to become fierce with your follow up.

One: get a diary and start writing in. So you send somebody a video, you write that person's name down, you send somebody some information, you write that person's name down and never send somebody information without arranging a follow up. So before you send somebody a video say, “Hey, when can I message you?” Before you send somebody information say, “Hey, when can I call you to follow up? When can I call you to talk about what you saw?” One of the best questions to ask before you send the video to somebody is to say, “How soon can you watch it?” And they'll say, “Well, tonight or tomorrow or on Monday.” Great, so if I call you on Tuesday we can talk about it, if I messaged you on Wednesday we can talk about it, if I call you tonight we can talk about it. You arrange a follow up so that the person expect your call, they expect your message and you write down in your diary, call Peter from Facebook, call so and so from leads, call my friend Susie.

You then go and follow up with those people, become fierce at follow up, become very meticulous, become very organised, because the worst thing you can do for your business is just keep chasing new people, keep chasing new people without going back to the people who you already sent information to, without going back to the people who attended your presentation. So really, really important, really, really important to get organised with that and you'll start seeing a lot better results. So become fierce with follow up.
