I see so many people make this mistake in network marketing. They overestimate what they could do in 6 months and underestimate what they could achieve in 5 years. Most people have a 'get rich quick' mentality when it comes to network marketing and when they join and see other leaders earning huge incomes they expect to reach the same in no time. Unfortunately, that is not how network marketing works.
Network marketing is a 2-5 year plan for someone to retire from their job and reach financial independence. It's not about having a blast in one day or 'getting lucky' somehow.
You need to focus on doing the work consistently over a period of 2-5 years to start achieving great results. Don't get discouraged if after a few months you haven't started making big money, it will come if you stay focused and keep building your business. Keep prospecting and marketing until you start seeing results.
