5 Success Habits in Network Marketing
Today I wanted to share with you five success habits
for network marketing. What are these five success habits?
So habit number one
is action. People who don't achieve great results, people who don't achieve
great levels of income and great success, usually they are procrastinators.
They don't take action. They're always delaying. So they’re always saying,
“Well, I'll do it tomorrow, I'll do it next week, I'll do it next month. Oh,
well, from New Year's. Well, when the kids go on holiday, well, whatever.” And
they keep procrastinating, they keep putting off the action but successful
people, they are action takers. So the first habit for success is action, is
taking action daily.
And that's why the second habit for success is
consistency which means taking daily action, being consistent at it. Why do I
do these videos every single day, because I want to be consistent. That's why
for the last 200 or so days, I went live every single day, no matter whether
I'm in UK, in Lithuania, in America, in Turkey, whatever I am, I'm always doing
it because I want to be consistent. So the second habit for success is
consistency, so using your products daily.
If you’re in network marketing
business and you're not using your products every single day, something is wrong,
something is wrong with your belief system, something is wrong somewhere
because you should be using your products every single day. I do and I know
many successful people they do. Next is sharing that product daily. Again, if
you're not sharing your products with other people every single day, that tells
me that you're not believing in your products enough. So again, being
consistent means sharing those products daily, showing those products to your
friends, family, work, colleagues, people around you, et cetera on a daily
basis.
Next is sharing business opportunity daily. Again, how many people have
you spoken to yesterday about your business? How many people you spoken to the
day before? So again, if you're not consistent with that, again, the first thing
I would work on is my belief system? Because if you believe in something, if
you're fired up about something, why wouldn't you share with other people, so
it's really, really important. Inviting people to events, again, a daily
activity every single day, you should be inviting your team members for a
training event, for a conference, for a convention, or wherever and new people,
when you bump into new people, inviting them to a presentation, or inviting
them on a webinar, or inviting them to take a look at a video or whatever.
So
it's always about inviting people to an event because meetings make money in
network marketing. And also engaging in personal development daily, again, so
watching maybe a video on personal development, or reading a book or listening
to a podcast, or even my video, you might choose my video as your daily
personal development, watching every single day those videos. Again, I hope you
learned something from these videos that I do. So maybe you're going to get
some value, but it doesn't have to be my videos, don't get me wrong. Alright,
so that's habit number two is consistency. Habit number one was action.
Habit number three success habit is discipline. And
what is this discipline? Discipline is doing things you said you going to do
even after the initial excitement has gone. Doing things you said you would do
even after the initial excitement has gone, because guess what, everybody will
do things when they’re excited. Everybody will do take action when they're
motivated when they’re pumped up, but what happens when that motivation wears
off? What happens once that initial excitement goes away? Are you still going
to be consistent? Are you still going to take action every single day? Are you
still going to do what you said you're going to do? That's where it shows if
you're disciplined or not. And again, guess what, successful people, they’re
disciplined all the time and they take action even when they don't feel like it
because that's discipline.
Habit number four is focus. It’s being
focused in what you do. Again I see so many people, New Year's, first of
January saying, “Oh my Gosh, I'm going to do this. And I'm going to do that.
And I'm going to do this.” And guess what? Three months later, they're gone.
They’re nowhere to be found. They go into the witness protection program. They
are disappearing, like flies, and three months ago, they said they're going to
rule the world, they're going to crush it, they're going to be the next earner,
and they’re going to have one or the other. And you go, “Come on.
Does that
mean your dreams; your ambitions are only worth three months of consistent
activity. That's it; you give up after three months on your life dreams, on
your life ambitions. Wow. Not very inspiring.” So what do I mean by focus? So habit
number four is focus. So you should give whatever you're going to do at least
12 months. If you want to have a breakthrough in your business, give it 12
months, if you want to have a breakthrough in your health, give it 12 months, if
you want to have a breakthrough in your relationships, give it 12 months, don't
give it three days, don't give it three weeks and give up after that because
you haven't seen much change, because change takes time.
So even when you
change your mind set, even when you start becoming consistent, you still got to
have crap coming to you and it's called residual crap. That's for the time when
you were not consistent, that's for the time when your mind set wasn't very
good. So even once you change, you change your mind set you motivate it, you’re
proud of, you’re doing activity every single day, and still crap is coming to
you. And you go like, “How does that work? I changed my mind set, why am I
still getting crap?” It's a residual crap. For the bad thoughts you had six
months ago, for the bad thoughts you had 12 months ago, so you know residual
income where you can get residual crap too. How about that? How exciting is
that? So that's habit number four.
The last habit number five is grit or hustle. So you
have to be prepared to work your butt off, you have to be prepared to work your
face off if you want to become successful, if you want to stand out from the
crowd, if you want to earn above average income, if you want to crush it. You
ain't going to do it by going with the flow. You're not going to just do it by
being casual, because if you're going to try to be casual, you’re going to
become a casualty. So you're not going to crush it in business or any other area
of life by just being casual, by just going with the flow. You have to cram, you
have to take massive action and that's where hustle comes in. Habit number five
is hustle, is grit.
You know when you really work and it's not going to be fun.
Guess what, some of you’re expecting, “Oh my Gosh, my journey to success is
going to be so fun.” No, it's not! A lot of days of that gritting, of that
hustling, ain’t going to be fun. You’re getting up early, going to bed late, working
hard throughout the day, missing out on all the fun that other people are having,
you know people who are broke, right, but they haven't gone so far. They're
watching TV, they're going to the pub, and they’re hanging out, right?
That's
why they're not successful. But you’re work in your face off, but it will be
worth it. I saw this little post and I loved it. It said, “When was the last
time you saw a TV commercial for Lamborghini. Oh, you haven't? You wonder why?
Because people who buy Lamborghini, don't sit in front of the freaking Telly
watching TV.” Hmm. Interesting, isn't
it? When was the last time you saw a TV commercial for Rolex watch? Oh, you
haven't? Because people who buy 30,000 pound watches don't sit in front of TV.
Isn't it interesting? Again, habit number five is hustle working hard.
