4 Ways To Start A BUSINESS
I want to share with you four ways of
starting your own business. So how could you get into business for yourself?
Maybe, right now you're working, maybe you're a student, maybe you already have
a business or whatever, maybe you’re just interested in learning about
different ways, how can somebody start their own business.
So way number one is to buy somebody else's
business? It's a popular way, because if somebody's got a business started up, you can purchase it. There are however few challenges, one usually
takes a lot of money to buy somebody else's business, two, you need to think
why would somebody sell a perfectly good business? So there might be some
hidden things that the person who's selling the business they want to get out
of it? Why do you want to get out of it? So buying a business, and again,
sometimes you just have some underwater things that you don't really see until
you get into the business. So that's number one.
Second way of getting into business is buying into a
franchise. So I'm sure you heard of McDonald's, Domino's, Burger King, diner
road, whatever, there's a bunch of different franchises in shape of the
restaurant, in shape of a stationary shop, in shape of van and a man type of
business and things like that, gardening and things like that. So there's
different franchise businesses. Now, the benefit of buying into a franchise
business very often that it's a checked out business, it's a business in a box.
So basically, somebody started it, they saw that it was successful, and they
just multiplied that business into different countries and different cities, and usually, it's almost guaranteed to work.
So if you bought a
McDonald's franchise today, I think it's very, very little chance that you
would not be making money. So it's a high chance that is going to be
successful. However, there's few challenges. One is cost a lot of money. I
mean, a McDonald's franchise is about a million pounds and another hundred
thousand dollars for the hamburger university to learn how to run that business.
So it's a downside, that it costs a lot of money and secondly, you have very
little control over your business. So when you buy a franchise, you literally
have to do everything, as you're told, you can't change it, anything, you can't
personalize it, you can't do the way you want it, you have to do the way you’re
being told by the owners of the franchise. So you don't entirely own your own
business. So that's second way of getting into your business.
The third way of getting into business is to start
your own business from scratch. Now, that again, very often requires a
considerable investment, but also that involves a big risk because as you know,
a lot of businesses actually about 95%, or something like that fail within the
first five years.
Starting your own business from scratch very often is one
of the most risky ways of doing a business because you invest a lot, let's say
you decided to open your own restaurant. Now you don't know if that restaurant is
going to be successful or not. So you have to get the premises, you have to buy
all the cooking equipment, you have to buy all the tables and chairs and
everything boss tools, you have to buy them the ovens and employ the chef,
employ the waitresses, employ the director, employ the accountants and all of
that before you know if it's going to work or not. So you might invest all of
that money, and it doesn't work out. People just don't come to your restaurant,
or people don't like your food or whatever. There might be a million reasons
why it doesn't work out. So it’s a huge risk plus huge investment. So that's
the third way of getting into a business.
And the fourth way getting into business, is a
network marketing business. Now network marketing business, usually, it takes
up a couple of hundred pounds to get into. So literally, you don't have to go
to a bank, get a loan, or remortgage your house or anything like that to get
into the business because usually, only takes a couple of hundred pounds to get
into it, but like a franchise business, in network marketing business is a
business in a box. So it's already been created and tested and proven to work
because usually, when you’re joining network marketing company, there's already
thousands of people who have successfully made money in that company by selling
products, by building the team. So all you have to do is just follow
a proven system to get the same result without the risk because there's no risk
and there's no overhead. You don't need to get premises, you don't need to hire
staff, you don't need to get warehouses, because you can literally run your
network marketing business from home. So this way, you don't have any overheads
and any investment. So this way, you have very, very little risk that you’re
actually risking, because you're not risking anything, you’re not remortgaging
your house, you're not taking loans from the bank, et cetera because guess
what, if you took huge loans from the bank, started the business and the
business didn't work out, the bank still wants the money, the bank still needs
to get it’s money back. So they're not going to go, “Oh, poor you. Sorry about
that. Yeah, don't worry about the money.” No, they'll say, “Hey, we want the
money back.”
So you'll either lose your house or whatever, but in network
marketing, you don't need that investment, which means you’re not risking and
you’re not having any overheads, employing staff, getting premises or anything
like that. So, pretty, pretty cool way for you to start your own business and
see how it works, how it happens. And actually a lot of people right now who
also in different kind of businesses many people actually got their
start in network marketing.
So even if you start in network marketing and you realize that it's not for you, it will be a great business school for you and it will prepare you well to start different kinds of businesses and to go in different kinds of ventures. So many people who are right now millionaires and done incredibly well in affiliate marketing, in information marketing, in different kinds of businesses, they had their start 10 years ago, 15 years ago, 20 years ago in network marketing, because of network marketing, you get an incredible amount of training, personal development, skills. They will prepare you to start any other business later on in life. I hope you find this useful.
