I want to talk to you about three very important parts for a successful
So, the free parts to a successful business. So part number one for a successful business is mind. What does it mean? Well, that's your mindset. That's your philosophy. That's your attitude. They say your attitude will determine your altitude Do you get it? So your mindset will determine how high you will raise in your business, how great your results will be. Now, most people don't like to hear that. Most people don't like to hear that they want something more simple. Oh, I don't like altitude, I don’t like psychology. I don't like mindset. Just tell me what to do. But actually, one of the biggest things to do is to work on your mindset, work on your attitude, work on the way you see things because when you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change. You get it, when you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change. It's powerful, right.
So same in your business. If you can look at any situation as, “Oh my gosh, this is end of the world nightmare or hey is an opportunity. Hey, there's a way to do things.” So mindset is very important. So work on your mind every single day, at least few minutes a day, you need to work on your mind, read a book, listen to an audio, watch a video, do whatever you can, but grow your mind because like Les Brown said, “Once the mind expands, it can never go back to its original dimension. Once somebody learns things, they cannot unlearn it.” So it's very, very powerful. So that's part number one for a successful business.
The second part is mechanism. And the mechanism is your company, is your business. That's the mechanism for a successful business. So your company has already got the infrastructure. You should be pretty getting sick of hearing me. The webinar, then Facebook Live, oh my gosh. So the mechanism again creates the opportunity for you to build a successful business. Why? Because you don't need to worry about things like you would in a traditional business.
Like in a traditional business, you'd have to develop your own product or invent your own products. You don't need to do that in network marketing company because they do that for you. In the traditional business, you need to get an accountant and do all the payroll and pay everybody out in your business, in network marketing, you don't need to do that because the company does that for you. In your own business, you'd have to get premises, offices, warehouse to stock everything, in network marketing, you don't need to do that, the company does it for you.
Well, in your own business, you'd have to be sending products out and things like that to all of your people in network marketing, you don't have to do that the company. So what the hell do you have to do if the company does everything for you? The only thing you have to do is go, “Hey, would you take a look at this? Hey, would you have a look at this video? Hey, would you have a look at this?” That's all you have to do, right? Because the mechanism is there, the company's the mechanism, and they've already designed all the products and they are designing more and more of them. They designed the back office for you. They designed the trainings. They designed the events, they do 99% of the work for you the mechanism, you don't need to do any of that, all you have to do is just introducing people to the mechanism, introducing people to the mechanism, you get the point, it's really, really powerful. In a traditional business, you would have to do all of that stuff by yourself, you know, getting the products registered with food standards, agencies and things like that, getting lawyers getting, you know, insurances, like oh my gosh, right? Traditional business is just a pain in the butt. But network marketing is amazing. So that's number two.
And then part number three for a successful business is the method. And the method is basically your skills that you use in the business, right? So in network marketing, we always talk about seven essential skills, finding people, inviting people, presenting your business, follow up, closing, getting new people started and promoting event.
There are really seven skills. If you master those seven skills that's your method. What's your method for finding people for your business? What's your method for inviting those people to take a look at your business? What's your method for presenting the business to that person? What's your method for follow up for keeping in touch with that person on an on-going basis? What's your method for closing, for helping the person to make a decision to join your business? Or buy a product? What's your method for getting new people started? So when somebody new joins your team, how do you get them started? How do you help them? How do you support them?
And what's your method for promoting events? How are you bringing people to the event? How are you motivating people to come to the big events? Because if you do those seven skills all my days, you know, you will make so much money, you cannot believe it, right? And that's the method for network marketing your skills, right? So again, investing some time and effort into learning those skills, maybe watching a video maybe reading a book, maybe attending training can be very, very beneficial on the long run. You know, it's like sharpening your skill.
You know, you come to this person and this person is chopping the tree. And the person goes, “Oh my gosh, really, you know, oh my God is so hot. And you come to this message and you say, “What are you doing? Are you chopping the tree? And they go, “Yeah, I'm chopping the tree,” and you say, “Why don't you stop and sharpen your axe,” and they go, “Oh, I’m too busy chopping.” So sometimes we need to sharpen our saw or sharpen our axes in order to get better results quicker, right? Sometimes we need to work smart, not just hard. And that's the method, right? So if you have those three parts down, if you've got those three parts, working your mind-set, the mechanism, you know, good company and the method you're going to be getting some pretty serious results and that's my wish for you.
